Ashley Hotel is a great place to stay and perfect for what we wanted to do and see! It is 2 mins walk from Paddington Station and Tube station and has local restaurants for food and bars just a minute away! The Hotel is 5 mins walk from Hyde Park :) The rooms were cozy but clean and fresh towels... More

We spent 5 nights here and choose this property for its location to Paddington station and central London area. We did not expect to encounter such poor quality room fit out. The mattresses are old and very worn. The odour from a sewerage vent pipe through the open window on the rear 4th floor room was a major disappointment. Lack... More

I purposely chose a hotel close to Paddington, but I had no idea how close and convenient it would be. The staff was polite, the WiFi worked well. My single room was tiny--a larger person may struggle with the bathroom and shower, but for a solo traveler it was ideal. There is no elevator, so getting luggage up and down... More

We are from Argentina and the receptionist can speak in spanish so, even we can talk in english, we were more comfortable knowing that she would understand us anyway. The hotel is super close to Hyde Park. The paddington station is at two blocks, so you can go everywhere. The neighborhood is excellent. Not only hotels and houses, there's pubs,... More

We booked for the location near Paddington so we could take the Paddington Express to Heathrow. That worked great. The Hotel experience was poor. We were given a room on the 5th floor(walk up). My husband and I are in our mid 70's. We could walk with some effort due to the very narrow last floor, but could not get... More

Beginning of July, busy time for travelers. 99 uk pounds, about what ??.. $160 US dollars a night - too much for this 4th floor (NO elevator! - drag your bags over quite steep stairs up! - no fun...) super tiny room and super tiny bathroom; you pretty much can't turn around in that bathroom without having a door open... I had an entirely pleasant stay at Ashley Hotel. The staff are friendly, the room was clean and decorated to a good standard. The bed was comfortable. The single room and en-suite are both quite small but that is not a problem for me. The inclusive continental breakfast is of good quality and range of choices. The location is great,... More

Stayed for 8 nights, part of package from American Airlines. Good Points: five minute walk to Paddington station, employee's were very polite and helpful, rooms were clean, plug converter and hair dryer are available. Bad points: Safe? man came into the lobby when we were checking in and asked the police be called because he was robbed at knife point.... More

I booked this hotel online and really had no idea what to expect. This hotel is very close to Paddington station which made it very easy to get from Heathrow airport. The staff have been very helpful and polite my whole stay. I booked a single room which was small in comparison to Australian rooms but it was clean and... More

I was quite worried about the reviews after booking this hotel. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and was allowed to check in early. The receptionist said there was a porter who would take our cases up for us. Our room was ready except for the towel (which the maid brought to us later on that afternoon). The room... More
