I was quite worried about the reviews after booking this hotel. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and was allowed to check in early. The receptionist said there was a porter who would take our cases up for us. Our room was ready except for the towel (which the maid brought to us later on that afternoon). The room... More

Stayed here one night with my girlfriend. Really excellent location, short walk to Paddington station and underground, and Hyde Park. The staff when checking us in were friendly and efficient. Weren't expecting a huge room, it being in central London, but the room was basically as small as is physically possible for a room to be but still hold a... More

Upgraded since my last visit so some new decor and paint. Price updated too since a single room can cost us about £89 depending on season. Narrow staircases, squeaky floors in some areas. Set opposite a nice green/leafy garden with benches. Parking VERY difficult here. Can walk to the famous and historic Hyde Park from here which is a bonus... More

Stayed at the Ashley Hotel recently for 4 nights... We were located on first floor. Staff helpful, position great and handy to all public transport. HOWEVER, disappointing due to Very noisy timber floorboards which kept us awake each night. You can hear other guests moving around, footsteps, luggage, beds, etc; Price.. Over the top for an uncomfortable stay. Only suggest... More

Firstly, I've stayed in many parts of London on visits but Norfolk Square is the BEST location for a visitor in London. It's so close to Paddington Station, you have both the Tube and the Rail network at your disposal so travelling from/to/around London is a breeze. It's an easy walk from the station to the hotels located here (even... More

Just spent 2 nights at the Ashley Room 203. The persistent noise from a unidentified source spoilt a few days in London. The noise starts at 0530 and persists throughout the day. It could be a pump or extractor fan which starts and stops intermittently. Did complain and was told the noise came from elsewhere. Poor response from a budget... More

The room we were given was on the fourth floor and there is no lift. It was the smallest hotel room we have ever stayed in. There was just room to get around the bed and only just enough to open the bathroom door which looked as if someone has tried to kick it in as it was damaged. The... More

The staff is very kind, one of them speaks Italian because he is italian. The wifi worked very well....great position really close to Paddington station, Bakerloo line... The room was clean and they changed towels every day. The breakfast buffet has briosche, croissant, bread, cheese and if you ask you can have toast, milk, juice from a machine, coffee and... More

I stayed at the Ashley Hotel London last Wednesday (11th March 2015) it's a fantastic location for Paddington and Hyde Park and a lovely 20 minute walk to the Royal Albert Hall. When you pay for a budget room you know it's not going to be superb but as long as it does the job that's ok. The greeting from... More
