I booked this hotel for an overnight stay in London on business and paid £100 for bed and breakfast. I stay in hotels of all types and standards across the globe from the top 5-stars to recommended hostels. I was marginally concerned about the Ashley after reading some of the reviews so I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel... More

Booked for four nights and did not wish to stay even one night. Arrived after midnight on a flight from Rome and would have rather spent the night at the airport. Room was very small and the bathroom was even smaller. No hair dryer in the room, however the front desk will loan you one for a deposit of 5gbp.... More

Room and bathroom were clean but very small. The room I stayed in was a single room and the length of room is 2 miters and width was 1.5 meters. There is no space. The bathroom was vey small and when you set you have to hug the washing sing. Staff were welcoming but expect no help for your luggage... More

JUST GO ANYWHERE ELSE A SUPER SMALL ROOM, clean but really more a corridor than a room MOST important SUPER NOISY. You can HEAR EVERYTHING from your neighbors even the most disgusting noises I will pay 50 or 60£ more not to be again in such a bad situation Enthusiastic comments on this hotel have been FILLED by the OWNER... We enjoyed our stay here although the rooms were very small it was very clean and comfortable. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome, the breakfast is lovely croissants were fresh plus fresh fruit yogurt etc. We only have one complaint the noise at night the hotel is across the road from a public park and young men would... There are NO good bits. Arrived got given key was directed to our room. 6 flights of un hoovered stairs later we get to what I can describe as the broom cupboard. You had to climb over the bed to reach the other side of the room. The bathroom was no bigger than a wardrobe. There was used toiletries left... More

Accompanying a group who chose this hotel for its price and location next to railway stations. Nice Indian staff, clean mini-room (more or less a sleeping car cabin with correspondingly small toilet and shower), acceptable breakfast. Yet, no lift but a cheerful attendant took my luggage and told me to be the lift! All in all not bad.

The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the location. Even the staff made it a less memorable stay. The staff seemed to be summer exchange students who couldn't give us any solid information about transportation and couldn't seem more bothered that we would ask questions. We were better off finding well informed attendants over at Paddington station to give... More

Good location and clean room. Breakfast starts late and is very simple. No elevator and small toilet with not very warm water in the shower. Thin walls and roof, you hear the next door neigbourgh. Plenty of restaurant nearby.

Overall a nice stay. Good location, free wifi, clean room and the bed was really nice to sleep in (Room 703). If I was to be critical it would be nice to see a hot breakfast served but apart from this, could not fault our stay. If we were to return to London, we would return!
