Staff were so friendly and made me feel very welcome. Our room was very clean and cozy. I felt very safe. Had a private room it was worth the few extra pounds. They had tours there you could take and lots of maps and brooches for the guests to make use of

We stayed here during our visit to London. Would reccommend to all our friends. Place is small but that is to be expected in London. Common area was great. Especially if you had a long stay and wanted to save some money. Book early as we missed out on the type of room we wanted. Staying at a Yha allows... More

Great location, close to transport and walking distance to lots of places. There was very friendly staff (even the cleaners were super lovely and caring!). The facilities are pretty average but to be expected for the price, thought they were very clean and tidy (I don't think you could find better accommodation for the price and location), I have stayed... We spent a few nights at the twin room which was very nice and comfortable. It has a bunk bed which is a bit annoying, but everything else was very comfortable. there are a lot of separate toilets and showers. everything was very clean. the lounge is also great, and the location is fantastic. We had a great time there!

This place is great! 4 stars for everything except location, location is 5 stars. So close to everything, loads of bars, pubs and clubs in the area. Easy train station access, 3 minute walk along busy oxford street. The private double room was very nice, bed was super comfy and all amenities were good. Communal showers and toilets were clean... I booked this hostel based on the reviews which was lucky, because from the outside the building looks quite uninviting. This hostel is the perfect location for exploring London, walking distance to Oxford Street shops, Tube, Soho, Regent Street, Picadilly Circus, Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, etc. Close to restaurants and mini supermarket. This hostel was not a party... More

This hostel is right in the heart of London and in my opinion very reasonably priced for its location.(this was our second stay) Just down the road is the very eclectic Libertys- could'nt afford anything but worth a look at the building structure- lovely. Many eating place closeby. Theatres on the door step- the Paladium was a mear 10 minute... More

Firstly, the hostel is in a great location. Walking distance to alot of tourist attractions and obviously Oxford Street, as well as in a good pub/club district. The hostel is also nice and clean. However, it was in general a bit lame. We had a 4 bed room, and it was tiny. If 4 people had suitcases, buggered if I... More

Certainly, one of the best located hostel of London, and this is its main asset. Just a few minutes from Soho, Regent Street. 10 minutes walk from Leicester Square. Actually, it's a rather tiny hostel at the 3rd floor of a narrow building. It's clean. The window was not quite well isolated. Kitchen well equiped. Small living room with a... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
