The title's pretty much it. The location is almost perfect, the Borough market is a great place to stroll around while eating a giant cookie or whatever you want really and the London Bridge underground and aboveground stations are just a couple blocks away. The pub located beside and below have a very American feel which can make for a... More

St Christopher's is great. There are many advantages compared to other hostels: 24/7 reception, 25% discount in adjacent restaurant, free WiFi, breakfast and bedlinen included in the rate. Also, it IS a party place, but the parties don't take place in the dorm rooms, which means you can have a good night's sleep even if you're not a party animal.... More

I stayed there only two nights and that's enough. It's close to the tube station, quite a good location. The rooms however are a bit scruffy, there was a constant problem with the shower. It's ok if it's a stopover, but definitely not for longer.

I feel bad writing this review so late, (I stayed there back in late February) but I still wanted to share my excellent experience. I had some problems with my booking but the receptionist, Elise (I think that's how you spell her name, actually maybe her name was Elisa...) helped pull some strings for me so that I could spend... Having been stuffed over by the St Christophers in Shepard Bush i ended up here for a night. Talk about dirty. The showers were dirty, the rooms were dirty, the sheets were dirty. Didnt eat here cause i would have probably died from the dirt. St christophers chain are useless, i dont expect much from hostels, but this experience was... More

We arrived to check in after a very early flight and therefore after a few hours of passing time in the London Bridge area. We quickly got a roomnumber which was on the 2nd floor and a key, but were both very unimpressed by the view that met us. It was a really small room with only a bed, mirror... More

St. Christopher's Village is LEGEND! A backpacker's best friend, this hostel offers an amazing location in London Bridge that is walking distance to St. Paul's, Tower Bridge, Borough Market, The Tate Modern, The Globe Theatre, and almost all of the South Bank attractions. Their upstairs bar offers all guest 25% off food and great drink deals. Downstairs they have an... More

Worst experience staying in a hostel Ive ever had. Rooms were dirty, stains on ceiling, stuffy, and hot. No wifi on 3rd floor. Switched to second floor and bar kept us up all night. There was mold in the showers, so i felt dirtier coming out than going in. they get you on every penny, having to pay for towels,... More

I was so amazed... The staff was great, the beds were comfy, there was shampoo in the baths and i received free breakfast and 50% off dinner. I costed me less than 30 pounds. :O The problem was that I choose the biggest room and there were just too many people - some talking, some coughing, the woman (and she... More

I just stayed here with an adult group of proffesionals more used to four and five star hotels. We all agreed this is a very nice hostel. The rooms are spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. The toilet and shower facilities were also clean. The showers were sadly cold for us but I'm guessing this was because we all... More
