The hostel itself is conveniently placed 2 minutes from Hammersmith underground and bus station, it's newly refurbished and clean but the pros end here. The staff were very rude and not helpful at all. For the money we paid we didn't get a good value - the room did have a fridge but no table where you could actually eat.... More

The only thing good about this place is its location. Beautiful park around the corner, couple of pubs down the road for a pint and extremely close to the bus stop and underground station. However, everything else was appalling... Shocking service, crappy and dirty room, disorganized cafeteria and don't get me started on the wifi... Utterly ridiculous... Expensive and slow...... More

We indicated on our initial booking we would be arriving after 9pm but when we arrived we were told our booking had been cancelled due to an issue with our card payment. They found us 2 rooms for that night after much pleading and we paid with the same card they had had "issues" with earlier. We were left with... More

The good point to mention is that the hostel was clean: bedroom, corridors, kitchen and shower was clean. Although the last one smelled sometimes. Toilets were clean the majority of the time too. The location of the hostel is good too. However, the doors don't isolate against noise at all. You can hear every footstep of the whole corridor. When... More

The location of the Abercorn House is ok. A underground station is an about 5 minute walk away. The rooms are nice and clean. The only thing to complain about is the staff that is a little unfriendly and the extra cost for Wi-Fi.

Unfortunately my opinion of Abercorn has been smeared by the treatment of my partner and I on our fourth night of accommodation. On our third evening of staying at this Hostel, our circumstances changed and required us to stay another night in London. The receptionist was happy to take an extra £50 off us for another lodging. We went out... More

For the price the cleanliness and the location this is 5 star all round for a hostel! Previous reviews were quite negative about staff etc we had no problems! Was a bit odd that some toilets and showers were unisex but there were loads and other floors did have separate female/male toilets! Was impressed with how clean the place was!... More

We where in London for a concert and stayed overnight, the place was very cheap and in a good location so we could travel around the city before the gig. Hotel was clean, room was noisy but the beds and the room was fine. Good to stay if you want cheap and cheerful.

This hostal has a great position because it's very close to the underground and this one has linked to four lines! We reserved a doble room with bathroom shared even if normally I prefer to have the bath inside. But It didn't mind because i was lucky having the bathroom in front of my room. Anyway I think there are... More

I stayed here for a week in private room. The check was easy and the staff friendly. I wasn't expecting housekeeping service considering it is a hostel, but our towels and bedding were changed daily. The room and bathroom was clean and the noise is very minimal, a little noise from the busy road not too far away, but nothing... More
