This is a wonderful old building next to the Royal Museums at Greenwich and literally minutes from the town and Cutty Sark - it's fully modernised inside but without air conditioning (not a problem on most occasions). From the moment you arrive the service is welcoming and efficient. The rooms are bright, spotless and well laid out with good bathrooms... More

We turned up at Devonport House looking forward to a lovely weekend away and discovered at reception there was no booking in our name. When I presented the Reception Manager with my booking slip, he gently asked me to check the booking slip, it was booked for the day after I made the booking, a month before! Within ten minutes,... For relaxation one could spend a day without leaving the hotel, however, being in the Royal Burgh of Greenwich there is so much to do, so one must venture out! Our visit to Greenwich was to get a glimpse of Her Majesty, the Queen! We did more than that! We were very fortunate to be close to the royal car... More

My husband and I stayed here last night for one night as we were going to a concert at the O2. The main draw for us was the free parking and we had no issue in finding a space. Reception staff were very friendly and check in was easy and efficient. We were in room 124 which was large by... More

We decided to hold our special day at Devonport House and popped in for a visit to arrange it.. From that moment on we couldn't have been looked after better in any way. Christine the Wedding co-ordinator was excellent. On the day the staff treated us like VIPs all day, nothing was too much trouble for us or our guests... More

This is the hotel for me! When my daughter started her studies (and even before, throughout auditions) at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, I looked for a nice hotel where I could stay during my visits to her. Devonport House was the one (and believe me, I have tried others). I was looking with a special purpose... More

We got a great deal on this hotel and our expectations were not too high, but, although obviously not a four star, the room was very clean and comfortable and the location of the hotel could not be bettered, in the midst of all the local attractions, which are numerous. The parking was free and the staff were really pleasant... More

The location is excellent, the car parking was free, the room was comfortable and pleasing, the buffet breakfast was good, and we were paying an average of 99 pounds per night (3 nights). We had a "Fawlty Towers" experience when the bar staff did not know how to prepare the Irish coffee and hot buttered rum promoted on posters in... More

Very good and quiet location right next to Greenwich Park and the Maritime Museum, close to the Cutty Sark and the Pier, thus easily reachable by DLR and boat (in Zone 2). Our room was spacious, with nice interiour, but the bathroom looked a bit worn and the windows were quite poor. There was always some draft and noise from... More
