The characterization of the this hotel as a business hotel had misled me and created unmet expectations. The hotel is clean and basic, and the staff is kind and always willing to help. It is a convenient 3-minute walk from Paddington. The WiFi worked. However, there is no real desk where you could work or no actual lobby where you... More

hotel was really clean, staff were really pleasant and very friendly. Room was a bit basic, bathroom a bit like a cupboard but it looked really well presented and looked like it had been recently decorated. Only real criticism was poor choice cooked breakfast 2 rashers of bacon, 1 tinned tomato and a few beans. Would have expected mushrooms/sausage and... More

Good location minutes away from Paddington but the entire street is lined with hotels so stay somewhere else. Room was cleanish but very small, wifi was strong and breakfast was good in the morning. Unfortunately, the two concierges ruined the experience. The first one did not know how to get to the airport besides to take a taxi, meaning my... More

I stayed at this hotel over two nights when I was in London on business last year. The receptionists are very helpful and offered to carry my bags up to my room, as it was quite high up. The room was comfortable and clean, and I had a good night's sleep. It is also very close to Paddington station, which... More

I stayed at this hotel recently with my family whilst my granddaughter was competing in an international dance competition nearby The rooms were small which is normal for budget accommodation in London but spotlessly clean and the cooked breakfast was excellent. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the manager Simon helped to make our stay extremely comfortable. The... More

I work in London and have to stay over for a couple of nights every week. I have stayed at several B&Bs around Paddington before finding the Omega Hotel. This is the only one I wanted to go back to - absolutely brilliant. Simon and his team are amazingly nice - very friendly, welcoming, polite, helpful and genuinely care about... More

I've just returned from an overnight stay in this hotel. It is just a short walk from Paddington Station along a busy but safe road. The hotel itself is set back on a tree lined street and is quiet and secure. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the fact that a full breakfast was included was a really... More

A very pleasant experience. I booked a single room for just one night through Booking.com. On checking in I asked for a 'quiet room' as I had an interview the next morning; in order to give me the quietest room available Simon (the owner) gave me a complimentary upgrade to room 1, a double on the lower ground floor. Simon... More

Lovely, clean room. Basic but perfectly formed for 3 day stay in london. Great location as a base; 2 minute walk to Paddington station, close to Hyde park & Oxford Street. Nice, quiet street - felt safe. Nice breakfast- bacon, fried egg, beans, tomato, toast & selection of cereals. Staff were polite & friendly. Capsule bathroom, limited space for a... More

Recently re-furbished. Very clean, smart, modern. The staff seem to genuinely care about service and quality. Free wi-fi. Complimentary water and coffee in reception. Lovely little independent hotel. Stylish decor in the rooms. Small rooms, but ideal for a city break. Great value for money. And close to lots of restaurants, pubs and Paddington station.
