This is an economy hotel in a good location close to trains, buses etc. The breakfast in the morning is not economy, it's outstanding! The included breakfast was fast as well as quality. The rooms were small, but adequate and decently clean, but you needed to ask for certain things like soap. Beds were getting old, but overall for the... More

Very economical and friendly hotel , rooms are basic but clean , hospitality was expressed warmly upon arrival and we had access to the kitchen for tea and coffee and unlimited suply of fruit . Breakfast was a little crowded but a lovely experience to meet so many nationalities. I look forward to returning , its very central Hyde park... More

The beds werent too comfy, and the towels will leave you chaffed - but you will leave feeling like you are part of the family! The breakfast was awesome! If you are looking for luxury - this isn't the place for you - but if you are looking for a great budget place to rest for the night in a... More

Cheapest bed on booking site , not clean , not dirty , no wi fi , break fast on plastic plate and very basic but warm and welcome . So over all cheap and not for a lady or couple but ok for a man on tour . Good security and staff ok but very distant .

The hotel is very well located in a very posh area of London with earls court and Gloucester rd tube stations both a few minutes walk away. The room itself is very basic, there a bed, a bathroom and that's pretty much it. No cups, no soap etc and whilst there is wifi you have to sit in the reception... More

Stayed last year on fourth floor so out the way really it was good. Staff very friendly too friendly in some cases talking loudly about politics in their own country to which I had no interest but we're so loud. Room was grubby and smelly with no storage. Bathroom mouldy, pillows thin, also this time on ground floor level we... More

It is central London so a very good price, the staff are very friendly but the rooms are small. if you want a base in Central London and this is somewhere just to sleep then it's OK. Biggest let down is the WiFi only in the reception area's that really would be my reason not to return.

Stayed here three nights in early December. The three-bed room on 4th floor was very tiny. No chairs so we had to sit on the beds. Cleaning ok. Very friendly and serviceminded staff. Breakfast better than expected. Central location and reasonable price. Recommended.

Been there on a family trip (5) on October 2014. The room was nice and cozy, Alex and his staff were extremely friendly, the location is excelent (walking distance to Natural History Museum, Big Bus Tour Stop, Tube, Restaurants, Minimarkets, etc,) Deffinetely will recomend this hotel and we´ll come back for sure.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
