Booked a twin room last minute and was not disappointed. Room was clean and comfortable. Thank goodness for air con as it had been a hot day in London. En-suite, which had a shower, basin and a toilet. Towels were thick and soft. Full english breakfast included. Only fault was the sausages were not cooked very well and overall was... More

Stayed here at the end of the 2-week trip to England, wrapping up in London. The room was comfortable, and it and the en suite bathroom were much larger than I expected them to be, particularly as we had a room for 3 (1 twin and 1 king). Room had a good air conditioner! Very convenient to transportation (train, bus,... More

This little hotel was just what we wanted. It's a converted Georgian town house that has about 17 rooms. The rooms are all accessed by a spiral staircase (I was happy to be on the 1st floor but think the higher floors would have been fine, too!). Our room was a triple and was small but nice. The bathroom was... More

The hotel is on Gower St amid multiple other small hotels, but distinguishes itself by its comfort. The staff is competent and helpful; the room was comfortable enough, and the cooked-to-order breakfast was a pleasant surprise. A tip from another traveler had alerted us that there was no elevator; if you're elderly or have a lot of luggage, ask for... More

Very nice air conditioned rooms and facilities. Very good breakfast. On busy Gower Street, but rooms are quiet. Excellent location close to British Museum, Bloomsbury shops, pubs, and restaurants. Easy walk to central London - Trafalgar Square, National Gallery, St. Martin in the Fields, Soho, Parliament and other government buildings. Pricey but not uncompetitive with similar properties. No lift for... More

Visited this hotel 2 years ago and returned due my birthday 🎂. Still a great hotel. Had a room that slept 3 which is what we booked. Cooked breakfast which was good, but cereal etc was there as well. We left on the Sunday but left our bags there while we did last minute shopping which was very kind of... More

Spent 7 nights here in the quad room (4 separate beds) with my husband and teenage daughter and son. Room and bathroom were clean, though the mattresses in this room could use replacing (you had to be careful where you laid to avoid a spring in your rib.) But overall we were happy- breakfast is free (option of full English... More

Very comfortable with air conditioning on the hottest night of the year.very acceptable restaurants were just around the corner. One complaint, I warned them I was on crutches but our room was on the fourth floor and no lift! Breakfast was fine with friendly service and the lounge, as advertised, was two sofas in the reception area. However for one... More

Spent one night here after a night out in town. Small room at basement level but everything you could need...room was clean and in decent condition, comfy king sized bed, well located at just a 10 minute easy walk to Covent Garden and a nice cooked breakfast included in the already low price. Can't complain.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
