Met up with grown up kids ~(29 and 26) for a weekend. We needed a budget hotel as we knew the weekend would be expensive so we booked the Alexandra staying in a quad room.(Ok not very romantic for me and hubby) but great value. Our room was in the basement, with 4 single beds and a shower room. Yes... More

The hotel was walking distance from the Paddington Station. Well, i made the booking through Dnata Travels which is a UAE based company. This is a budget hotel i would say and is located right at the heart of Paddington, walking distance to restaurants, pubs and small grocery shops which came in handy during my 2 night stay at this... Our shower flooded and went out into bed room floor. Told the night reception seem he did not care. We got moved to another room... More

Arrived at the hotel and greeted by very friendly receptionist. We arrived very early so room was not ready, however the receptionist said we can leave our luggage with them so we can do what we wanted to do. They also gave us a time when the room would be ready. Arrived back after sightseeing and the receptionist instantly recognised... More

A nice hotel. Compared to hotels in other European cities it's pricy of course but for London it's a good option. I've tried many hotels in this area and so far Alexandra is the best. The standard isn't high but considering the price and location it's more than acceptable.

We stayed in this hotel as a group of 3 and knew what we were getting into before we booked. What appealed was the price and location and they didn't disappoint. We had a cheap night in a central location in London, it was obviously not going to be luxury! The room itself was absolutely fine, people who are complaining... More

Used this hotel for an overnight stay whilst going to see Blur at Hyde Park. It was a bed and if it had not been for the copious amounts of alcohol consumed on the day of staying I doubt Id have slept. That aside it was all an efficient process of checking in and out but I doubt Id stay... More

Went against reading all the sad reviews about the place and still booked it for Location and the good price, unfortunately it was hi summer and everything around was either exorbitant or booked! We got a twin room, but the room wasn't even big enough to be called a single, shower was no bigger than a telephone booth....it was hot and... More

We had a twin room that was TINY! On arrival the staff didn't help us with our bags, directions, taxi or anything. While we had our stay this is the sort of service we received: - Were made to leave or key at the desk if we were to leave which was fine, except the staff changed each day so... More

Me and my son was booked to Alexandra by a travel agency when visiting a sports event. Great location of the hotel. Meager breakfast with only the basics. The room was located on the 4th floor with no elevator. The towels had stains on them when delivered as clean. Bedlinens seemed clean. I doubt an overweight person would make it... More
