A shocking experience sums it all perfectly. The shocks started as soon as we enteredthe hotel. The decor was very tacky and cheap. It looked as though they shopped at Pound Stretcher. The scruffily dressed receptionist demanded to be paid before they even checked us in. This is the company policy. We got our keys and the room was a... more

We booked Rose Court Hotel after looking at their website. We had spent the last 5 weeks in Ireland, Spain & Portual & had booked all accommodation via the internet. Our one BIG mistake with this booking was that we didn't check trip advisor - had we done this we never would have gone ahead with the booking. don't be... more

Let's be honest about it: London is a freightfully expensive city. This goes for hotels in particular. So, either demand your usual level of comfort and pay an awful lot of money for a few nights or be prepared for something that's not up to what you would expect in other cities and spend the rest of your money on... more

Being from the United States and never having been to Europe, I was at the mercy of the system. This place was NOT what I would call "acceptable" - I would not stay there again. In the end we didn't get a disease or robbed or anything, but we felt dirty the whole time. There were black hairs on the... more

after my partner booked us 3 days at the rose court for my birthday as a surprise, i decided to check on other peoples reviews, and quite frankly was worried with what i saw. there werent many good reviews to put it bluntly, however we decided for 2 nights only we would give it a go....and i must say, we... more

Nice location near underground (Padington and Lancaster Gate). The room and bathroom were clean, decoration and furniture were awful but the bed was ok, with clean sheets. The shower in bathroom should be replaced because it was difficult to balance cold and hot water. The staff was ok but there is a "lot of room" for improvement. Breakfast was minimally... more

We stayed 5 nights and prepaid. What a mistake. Dirty, hot and no fan, extremaly small room, miniscule bathroom, noisy with traffic outside. I became very ill. I would never recommend this hotel and thought camping would have been a much better option. more

This place needs to be shut down. Don't be fooled by the nice photos on the internet- inside, this hotel is rotting. There were bloodstains on my bedspread, cracks and dirt marks on the walls, the shower was broken, the toilet door was broken and the carpet was FILTHY and RIDDLED WITH BUGS, as was the bed- these drove me... more

Well what can I say .....except a living hell ! Myself and 2 friends stayed in a triple room THANKFULLY for one night only - and this was only because after checking other hotels in London there was no vacancies so we had to stick with it or sleep on the streets - and to be honest sleeping on the... more

I took my 14 year old son to London for a city trip of 3 days. He enjoyed the city very much, but the hotel was terrible! The room was on the 4th floor, a labyrinth of stairs (how on earth could we go down safely in case of a fire), a tiny lift...........and most of all, it was not... more
