What a fantastic place! 7 minutes walk from Victoria station. Our room was clean, the bed fine, the proprietors helpful and courteous. I can't imagine a better value anywhere in London in such a lovely location. Rooms are small and the bathrooms (en suite) even smaller, but at the price I paid, I have no problem with that whatsoever. I... More

On a very last minute trip to Europe we had a couple day layover in London. U At the last minute, over the weekend, nothing was available. Rather than spend $300, decided to stay at this hotel for $100 and spend the extra money on food/entertainment. This hotel was recommended in Frommers and was one of the few B&Bs available... More

The initial paragraph says it all: The guest was looking at $ 300 dollar places to stay at and decided to stay with us at $100.00 you don’t have to understand the theory of relativity to hopefully understand that are sometimes comprises you have to make if you choose a far cheaper option: I shall answer his remarks as follows:... I had occasion to go back to central London a few days ago. Some hotels have a service level that goes up and down. The Lynton doesn't. Close to Victoria Station / tube. Still friendly, clean, terrific value.

I am surprised some reviewers are complaining about the small rooms. If they had taken the time to read about this B&B, they would have seen that the rooms and en-suite bathrooms are small. Also no shampoo. Nothing is hidden by the owners of this establishment. I picked this B&B for both location and price. It is in a very... More

Stayed at the Lyndon hotel many years ago in the 1980's and 1990's still run by the same family and is still a lovely place to stay, very clean, comfortable and a lovely full English breakfast, nicely priced. Stayed Saturday night and went to Hyde park winter wonderland, very enjoyable stay and I will return. Thank you

There were a number of B&Bs in the Victoria Station area when I first started coming to London 20 years ago but the Lynton Hotel is one of the last B&Bs here. The two gents who run it were nice convivial hosts. The rooms and bathrooms were small but were clean and fit our budget. The location is great and... More

Stayed on Saturday 17th November for a short two day break with my pal Deb's knowing that we only needed a room for the night and some breakfast in the morning. I chose this B & B because I felt there would be something about the experience and I was right. Really accommodating, Simon let us drop off our bags... More

I found this jewel through Trip Advisor. Again, never disappointed. My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights early October 2015. We were in room 5 on the 1st floor in the front of the building. There was a small 1 chair balcony over the sidewalk which provided a reprieve from the small room and it was fun to... More

Just stayed two nights at the Lynton and loved our host Mark - so helpful and cheery. The neighborhood was convenient to walking to the Thames attractions and some good Belgravia neighborhood pubs.Breakfast was tasty too.

Me and my partner stayed in the Lynton for 1 night in November and it was great. Nothing special, room was small, but everything was clean and well kept. It felt like a very traditional London hotel run by very traditional London people. The owner Simon is a great laugh and will give you the feeling of real London, which... More

Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
