Just returned from a two day stay in London at Simon & Mark's establishment along with my girlfriend. We were warmly greeted by Simon upon arrival (never managed to meet Mark as they were probably his days off during our stay). We were lucky to avoid the long ascent upstairs as we had booked the large ground floor room at... More

I stayed at The Lynton for just one night and given it was last minute and London packed with tourists I could only secure a bedroom at the top of the building with shared bathroom one flight down. Rooms are small, but clean and the breakfast cooked by Simon was a great start to the day. Only 100m from Victoria... More

Great location, worst b&b I’ve ever stayed in and I travel a lot. Bedrooms have filthy old stained carpets, damaged old furniture, there is layer of dust sitting on certain things in the room so when you turn on room fen to move the air you can see the dust show in the air. People with allergies beware. Very tiny... More

Excellent value, location, and customer service. Clean and quiet. The owners, Mark and Simon, are knowledgeable, helpful, and quite entertaining. Breakfasts are made to order and excellent. What prevents me from giving it a five star is the need for bathroom upgrades throughout the facility. They are cramped and what you would expect at a youth hostel. It's time for... More

Hello and thank you for your reply; we note your comments and would love a solution to our bathrooms being so small but the overriding problem is that we have an old Victorian building (150 + years old) with rooms that were built when water was not even delivered to the rooms above ground level. We did replace 3 of... More

The Lynton is perfectly located for easy access to all of London. Need directions? Mark and Simon will give you the bus number and location of nearby stops. The full English breakfast helps start your day. The rooms can be small but adequate for the amount of time spent actually in the rooms. Definitely a first rate hotel that will... More

Yes, as the other reviews stress, your visit to London is greatly enhanced by contact with brothers Simon and Mark Connor. Burly and booming Simon will talk your head off, but with lots of great advice that you ignore at your peril! Affable Mark is eager to please and equally helpful with suggestions for routes and modes of transport, etc.... More

Location is the key in choosing The Lynton for your stay in London. This B&B is reasonably priced, a few blocks from Victoria Station and public transportation, and the proprietors, brothers Mark and Simon, are refreshing and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed being in a safe area of town, with nearby pubs and easy access to all we wanted to see,... More

You can stay at the Ritz but you'll get more London atmosphere by staying at Lynton B&B on Ebury St. London. Run by two brothers who want to make your stay enjoyable. Remain calm and eat breakfast! In France this would be a two star. However, the rooms and baths are small. The place is clean and quite reasonably priced for... More

This property is well located with easy access to the Victoria Station. As other reviews have indicated, the rooms are tight and the bathrooms are small. However, the rooms are clean and the property is well taken care of. At the price offered, the inclusion of breakfast is a bonus. For the location and price you can't beat this place.... More

We had one of the best experiences. The room was very clean, the bathroom was small but we knew it, the breakfast was good and the friendliness of the owners made us feel at home. Close to everything but in a very quiet street.
