Are the rooms small? Yes. Are the furnishings on the Spartan side? Yes. Are the shower/sink/toilet installed units tiny? Yes. Is the price amazing for the location? YES! The two rooms I had both had enormous high ceilings which kept the size from feeling cramped; they both had plenty of plugs for charging stuff and the beds were very comfortable.... More

I've stayed before with Simon and Mark at the Lynton and as before it is superb value with an excellent location, friendly atmosphere and wonderful breakfasts. You are 5 minutes from Victoria Station with excellent transport links. There are also good restaurants in the area. Once again, Simon and Mark thank you for a great stay. I will be back!

Amazing location for easy access to Victoria Station which has the Underground, buses and trains. Also, tourist hop on hop off buses are nearby. Clean rooms with basic accommodations. Bring your toiletries, only bars of soap provided. That's ok because the price is so great! Breakfast was nice, muesli, milk, fruit and the traditional English breakfast: poached eggs, fried ham... Breakfast was great every morning. We would ask Mark or Simon about our plans for the day. They had great inside advice! Also, they arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport and bring us directly to the B and B. So helpful!

At the last minute I needed to find somewhere near The Mall and Victoria Station but not pay the Earth for it. It seemed an impossible task but I found this place on Google Maps after my old Lonely Planet let me down. Most places in that have shut down and become homes to Russian oligarchs. I rang up and... Made a return visit to the Lynton Hotel for a two night stay this week. Bed and breakfast at a really great rate not to mention a five minute stroll from Victoria Station and two of my favourite London restaurants, Ken Lo's and Boisdales. The owner is very welcoming, breakfast is tasty and the outside terrace is ideal to kick... More

We just left after staying two days with our kids (this was their first time overseas). The place was vey nice and we all slept very well. We knew both the bathroom and bedroom we're going to be smaller so we were well prepared. The breakfast was very nice too! Mark was very helpful, friendly and always very happy! He... More

If you need a place to stay in central London and you don't want to pay the extortionate rates that the big chains charge (I paid £170 / night three weeks prior to finding The Lynton), give these guys a try. The rates were around half of the amount I had paid previously. The room wasn't big, but it was... More

The Lynton Hotel, near Victoria Station Victoria Station is large, complex and very busy with trains, buses, and the underground. But it also has several shops and places to eat in an upstairs area that has been brightly modernized. Thus convenient. The Lynton is about two-three blocks from Victoria Station and is run by two brothers, Mark and Simon. I... More

I have stayed in the Lynton on a number of occassions and will reiterate what many reviewers have said. Yes it's a bit ramshackle and yes the rooms are small and there are a lot of stairs BUT, and it's a big but, for this area of London for the money it is excellent. The hotel is situated on Ebury... Staying in Belgravia

Neighborhood Profile
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
