Just returned home after spending 4 days at Lynton Hotel. Enjoyed Simon's breakfasts and delightful personality. Hotel was in walking distance of most attractions and only a few blocks from the train. Quiet street .Great value! Highly recommend Lynton Hotel.

Very good place to stay if you are in budget. The main value of course is the hotel central position with the Victoria nearby. The building itself is old and nice with the minimum facilities for comfortable 1-week stay. I stayed here with my 2 daughters and we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel. We expected something worse after readind... More

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel in July. It is in a lovely location and very convenient for all transport. Bearing this in mind, it is a really reasonable price. The owners make it perfectly clear on booking that rooms and en suite are small and that stairs will have to be climbed, but the beds are comfortable... More

Simon and Mark are very hospitable hosts. We stayed three nights at the Lynton Hotel B&B and enjoyed our stay. The breakfasts were fabulous! We were within walking distance to the Victoria Station, which we found very easy to navigate when getting to anywhere else we needed in London. We could have walked to Buckingham Palace, and most other places... More

We stayed at this lovely B & B for 3 nights & enjoyed its great location near Victoria Station & many London attractions. We stayed in room #5 which has twin beds & a small balcony overlooking the street that you can step out onto. The street is very quiet, so no problems sleeping. The bathrooms are small, but adequate.... More

Simon and Mark are great guys. Their hotel is located only about 400 yards from Victoria station and Sloane Square station (much smaller and easier to navigate when traveling around London). The stairs are a bear up to the 4th (5th for Americans) floor, but it's a great workout. No AC, but they have fans for you on request. At... More

This B and B's greatest asset is its location, a few blocks from Victoria Station and an easy walk to Buckingham Palace and other London attractions. Mark and Simon, the proprietors, are gracious and helpful. Mark gave us detailed bus and walking directions and restaurant recommendations, and held a suitcase for several days while the owner was off on an... More

Small dumpy smelly rooms with beaten up ‘furniture’. The rooms have NO air conditioning. I would not stay here again. There are many more decent places nearby in this fairly decent location, you just have to do your research.

I know we are not the Ritz or a flash boutique modern hotel but what I would like to say ;is that we are in an neighbourhood which is considerable more than a rather decent location. We are located 5 minutes’ walk from the back wall of Buckingham Palace in a district with many Embassies, consulates and the London homes... More

There are so many positives to this place: Location, Mark and Simon's knowledge and willingness to help map out one's day, free stairclimb workout every time you go to/from your room. As one frequent guest said "I always go home in better shape than I came." The rooms are small. I whacked my shin on the bed several times before... More

Thank you for your honest opinions. We can’t do much about the stairs that’s a fact of life all we can do is reiterate that there are 78 steps from our ground level to our 4th floor . To get larger bathrooms we would have to lose a room a floor which would mean room rates would be higher. I... More

Just returned from a two day stay in London at Simon & Mark's establishment along with my girlfriend. We were warmly greeted by Simon upon arrival (never managed to meet Mark as they were probably his days off during our stay). We were lucky to avoid the long ascent upstairs as we had booked the large ground floor room at... More
