It's not a 3 star hotel. But it was half the price of the King's Cross Travelodge, and the quality/facilities were broadly comparable. The rooms are small, the wifi is slow. But rooms are clean, breakfast is included in the rate and not bad. Maybe I have simple needs, but I'd happily stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights and to be honest after reading some of the reviews on here was a bit worried.........we were actually quite surprised when we arrived at how good it was bearing in mind we were in central London. Yes the rooms are small and need updating but as a base for what we needed it was... More

This is a no frills hotel whose chief advantage is that it is located literally 2 minutes away from Kings Cross. Given the location, its a very quiet hotel helped by the fact that it is around Argylly Square which has a large park. The staff was very friendly and they were very helpful in transferring us from a room... More

Stopped here when watching The Who at Hyde Park with my lad. Rooms were small but generally clean... Clean bed and towels etc. Just think they could do with modernising. Very hot in the rooms though. Breakfast was ok, English or toast and cereals etc. Overall, adequate for our needs

I suppose it depends what you are looking for. Room 34 has three twin beds, a closet with a few hangars and nothing else. The issue here is that the bathroom has a door that does not provide privacy, nor does the bathroom have anywhere to hang towels. In addition, there isn't anywhere to hang towels in the bedroom. Since... More

The worst aspect I found with this hotel is that the rooms are SO tiny! I booked a room for 1 person that had a double bed and couldn't figure out how a second person would fit into it. There's no chairs, no small tables nor even a space to put your suitcase on. The hotel has no lift either,... More

There wasn't many plug sockets to charge our phones, The wifi wasn't very good, it was really slow and took ages to load For breakfast there could have been more on the English breakfast there were only egg, bacon, beans and sausage. The hotel is not far from the Kings Cross Station which was handy. The room was small. I was disappointed about there being no kettle as I like to have a coffee on a morning. There was no bin liner in the bin so I put my own plastic bag in. There wasn't many plug sockets to charge our phones,... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
