We used this for a one night stay in order to catch an early-ish Eurostar. It is nothing special, good or bad. It's clean and the breakfast is good with friendly and helpful staff. It was £40 each for 1 night which we thought was cheap for London? However we didn't sleep well as we needed to leave the window... More

A friend had booked this hotel as a cheap stay for a weekend to London with the girls. Hotel looks nice from the outside but as soon as you go down the corridor to the bedrooms it's disgusting! Rooms are cosy but tiny! Bathrooms tiny, mouldy. Three of us were staying and they only left us two cups and they... More

Overnight stay with two adults & two children en route to Disneyland Paris. Very close to Kings Cross/St Pancras stations which was very convenient. Room was ok, clean, as was bathroom, beds were comfortable even though they we're fold away ones! Breakfast good, served quickly. Ideal for a one night stay.

The hotel is close to St Pancrass station, only at 5 minutes by walk. The rooms are small (very small) but clean and very calm. The price is really cheap for a hotel in London : 60£ breakfast included. The hotel is located on a calm square, no noice during the night even if you are close to King's Cross... More

OK so I know the hotel is cheap for the location, but I checked in and immediately checked out and found another hotel. It wasn't helped by the taxi driver dropping us off and telling us it used to be much more of a hotel that charged for rooms by the hour... It was tatty and dirty, and the room... More

First of all i paid £55 a night for a very small but cosy single room. The location in Kings Cross is not my favourite but i was at a conference only 2 minutes walk away so it was good for that. The tube and mainline stations are 2 minutes walk, plenty of bars and cheap places to eat around... More

Howard Winchester s a very convenient hotel to stay between trips being quite close to KingsCross/St Pancras Station. Extremely nice people at the reception (husband and wife), good breakfast, quiet neighbourhood. It is just 100 yards inside Congestion Charge Zone, so you can park outside the zone near KingCross. Small rooms but clean, Good Wi Fi.
