Pokey little room, cramped, narrow stairs, WIFI was useless, breakfast was spartan, no accessible power points in room, shower was an appalling, feeble trickle and it sounds like there was an industrial laundry in the need room. Stay away.

I stayed at this hotel on a recent business trip to London and I will not be coming back. Reception staff rather unfriendly, I paid in cash and had no documents to sign and no written confirmation of my payment. My room (35- which I have read from previous comments was one of the worst) was situated right next to... More

The greeting at reception was indifferent. To say the least. We eventually found our room, which was the most basic room I have encountered. The bathroom was so small that a shower is just about possible. The shower leaked which made the entire bathroom wet. The walls are so thin that you think that other guests are in your room.... The location of the hotel is great, just a few minutes away from the tube. The room, although minuscule, had everything necessary and was not too dirty as compared to the standard of the city. However, my stay has been very uncomfortable. The bed was excessively soft, the walls so thin I could hear every movement and noise in the... More

Have you ever been camping? Its a cost effective way to enjoy some time with nature. Sure it stinks, you don't get a decent sleep, a decent shower, access to the internet, access to electricity, or basic comfort, but hey, you get to be close to nature and try something different. This hotel is essentially the same as camping, except... More

We used this hotel for an over night stop before travelling on Euro Star. It is a short walk from the station and tube and is in a good location. The hotel is clean but has no frills, which was fine for us. Breakfast was of a reasonable standard. The room was small, but clean the bed was ok for... More

Stayed here for 2 nights 20th-20th December with a friend to visit winter wonderland, the shard & to do some shopping. 2 females aged 22/23. Was apprehensive to visit here at first because of some of the reviews on here! We paid £165 and I thought this was value for money! Especially when they feed you breakfast. ROOM: we had... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
