The hotel is located at the bottom of Argyle Square so about 2 minutes walk to Kings Cross. The hotel is very clean. The bed was a simple metal frame so I expected it to be uncomfortable but the mattress was very comfortable. The en suite looks like it was added to the room as it is small at the... More

The positive: this hotel was the best value for the money that we could find. We had the family room. It was tiny by our standards, but we all (2 adults and 2 kids) had enough bed space. It was at a convenient location. The train and subway station was a very short walk. The English Breakfast was fine. The... More

Value for money hotel located just a few steps from King's Cross and St.Pancras International. Friendly staff and tasty English breakfast made our stay very pleasant. Rooms are a bit small, sometimes we heard our neighbors quite well, but otherwise just fine!

I paid a budget price for this room for 4 people on one night and I got exactly what it said it was, a budget hotel. The room was large and clean, the bathroom was large and had a big bath. There were minimal toiletries for 4 people (one little bottle body wash/one little soap). Plenty of toilet rolls but... More

I stay here every couple or weeks or so - and many others are also regular visitors - that should tell you something. OK, it ain't the Ritz - but its always spotlessly clean and tidy, the sheets are crisp and white. Its in a quiet location yet only a very short walk to both KIngs Cross and St Pancras.... More

Me and my partner stayed here for three nights when we were going to Wireless Festival. Where to start..... Firstly NEVER AGAIN!! The room we were given was tiny and could barely fit us and the suitcase in it. The décor was horrible and a lot of things were falling apart. The bathroom was disgusting with mould growing on the... It's not a 3 star hotel. But it was half the price of the King's Cross Travelodge, and the quality/facilities were broadly comparable. The rooms are small, the wifi is slow. But rooms are clean, breakfast is included in the rate and not bad. Maybe I have simple needs, but I'd happily stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights and to be honest after reading some of the reviews on here was a bit worried.........we were actually quite surprised when we arrived at how good it was bearing in mind we were in central London. Yes the rooms are small and need updating but as a base for what we needed it was... More

This is a no frills hotel whose chief advantage is that it is located literally 2 minutes away from Kings Cross. Given the location, its a very quiet hotel helped by the fact that it is around Argylly Square which has a large park. The staff was very friendly and they were very helpful in transferring us from a room... More

Stopped here when watching The Who at Hyde Park with my lad. Rooms were small but generally clean... Clean bed and towels etc. Just think they could do with modernising. Very hot in the rooms though. Breakfast was ok, English or toast and cereals etc. Overall, adequate for our needs

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
