This was my second stay at Best Western Victoria Palace, so I knew that the staff and the service is very good. And that that the rooms are cline and nice. We had booked this hotel because off the good price, location and AC inn the rooms. The AC was very good because of the heat wave in London during... More

Stayed in the Victoria Palace for 2 weeks in July. The room was clean and cosy. The staff very helpful. Perfect service. Will definitely return to this hotel.

We recently stayed at the Best Western Victoria Palace for one night prior to catching a cruise in Dover. It's location, within walking distance of Victoria Station, was ideal. The room was large enough by European standards and the bathroom, though small was larger than many I have experienced. The staff seemed friendly and helpful and I did enjoy the... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed in May 2009 in the Best Western Victoria Palace for the second time. It was good as ever. The location is superb: close to the Victoria Station, which has a nice variety of shops and fast food options, and there are some good restaurants nearby. The service is very nice, the staff is very kind,... More

We stayed 3 nights in BW Victoria Palace in the middle of June and I must say that I found it to be good value for the money spent. Small rooms, but very cosy, clean and nice. Also bathrooms were very clean. We even had a nice sight from our room (in 4th floor) to Big Ben and London Eye!... More

The Hotel was in a great location. But.....the size of the room, quiteness of the room and confort of the room was a very big disappointment. When we arrived we were shown a room on the basement level with an almost window. The next room was underneath a flat and had a lot of stairs to get to. When we... More

Although we upgraded to the queen size bed, the room was quite small but very clean & the bathroom was immaculate. Staff were helpful & friendly. The breakfast set-up (pay a little extra for sausage & bacon) was not as good as some other hotels (& I'm vegetarian!), but there was sufficient & wouldn't be put off staying here again.... More

The "room" was TINY, but clean. The length of 2.5 beds and the width of one arm span. Bathroom nearly killed us with heat/steam unless the door was open, which was not an option given we are two ladies who prefer private showers! Noisy, next to the lift. Breakfast room was inadequate for the amount of people staying so get... More

We were looking for a hotel with adequate space, comfort, near public transportation and this hotel fit our needs. It was comfortable...however please don't expect large spacious rooms, had free internet connection, nice bathroom with a good shower. The location was a 5 minute walk to the Victoria underground, train and bus station. The Victoria station has numerous fast food... More

The first room was very hot and smelly, so I asked for a different room; however no joy on the first night (Sunday). Monday morning I asked again and was moved to a different room. However, in the second bedroom the heater in the bathroom didn't work, and I had to get some tape to tape up the windows as... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
