My room just off the reception was compact, but not as small as a lot of other London hotels I've stayed in. It was clean enough, looked quite newly renovated and was surprisingly quiet. Hotel within easy walking distance of Victoria. Plenty of local choice for drink and food, which was good as the tariff I was on was pretty... More

This hotel is in an excellent position to visit right across London. It also has its fair share of good restaurant's. Its proximity to Victoria and the tube makes it both ideal and the degree of safety in this area is encouraging for tourists. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. We stay here whenever we visit London.

I hate to say what a great place this is for location, value, service, cleanliness - you name it. I'm afraid that I won't be able to book a room next time I need to. But this is a great place. We didn't eat the breakfast because we like to go out, but there are plenty of places near by.... More

Basic hotel initial impression not great but it was picked for location first, close to Victoria Station, some really nice bars and restaurants close by, rooms basic enough, if ur looking location first go for it but not for luxury

Some friends and I have stayed here a couple of times and will probably stay there again. The hotel is not very fancy, but if you need a bed, a shower and a breakfast centrally located near Victoria Station, this is as good choice. The front desk staff and manager (mostly Indian) are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is... More

We arrived early for check in and very wet, the staff immediately found us a room with no fuss. The room was clean and adequate for our two night stay, we would definitely stay again and thank you to the very professional and helpful staff!

Have stayed in many different places in London so know that the best way to not be disappointed is to have low expectations. :-) Stayed in the annex building - decent, clean, quiet, paid 168 GBP for 2 nights, within walking distance to subway and places to eat. Will stay there the next time I'm in London.

Good location and initially a good price booked via the internet. BUT The room was like a corridor with two single beds end on end. The bathroom was so small you could not close the door if you stood at the sink! My real irritation however, was not wanting to move hotels I said I might want to stay another... More

Very well appointed for the price quoted. The WiFi actually worked and the room was small but very cosy. We stayed in the Annex Building which was very nice. No issues and the walk to Victoria Station took us about 5 minutes.

Last weekend, I stayed at the Best Western Victoria Palace. The experience did not make me want to book another weekend. To be honest, I feel a bit duped and did not enjoy the experience. For our stay of two nights, I paid around 300 GBP. For that kind of money, you may expect the following: a good service, a... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
