Arranged a block booking with this hotel, confirmed all the details by email with the manager directly. It was only when the party tired to book the rooms, did we find out they did not have any availability, despite a confirmation email from the hotel. The worse service I have ever received, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I recently had to come to London for an interview and need an nice reasonable price hotel to stay in. I found this hotel on laterooms.com and i'm glad I did, the staff was really friendly and helpfully. The room was not your average hotel size room but it was perfect for just me and it was spotless and the... More

Stayed in The Jade recently with my family and we were so impressed with the quality of the bedrooms, the beds were comfortable and the room had a cosy atmosphere. The staff were super friendly and well -mannered. In addition to this, the location is fantastic as Earl's Court Tube Station is just around the corner, making getting to places... More

Was in London for a short while on a trip with friends. The staff were friendly and Earl's Court station is literally a two minute walk from the hotel, so getting into the city was easy and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Treated my girlfriend to a weekend in London for her birthday. Good value for money. Room was medium sized but we didn't need a large room as weren't in the hotel during the day/evening. Bathroom clean and bed really comfy. Staff very friendly and hotel is very quiet. Staff don't bother you - only friendly if you approach them. Hotel... More

Stayed here for 5 nights during my solo trip to London. The biggest advantage of the hotel is the location, with the tube station being a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, it was not a problem since there are lots of options to eat in the area. The rooms are really small,... More

The Jade HAS AMAZING hotel rooms! Got to tell you what my circumstances were: I cancelled my 2-nights stay at easyHotel, and with my girlfriend, I was totally frustrated & without any hope to find a great budget hotel in London. Then I found The Jade. At first, I thought this "B&B" hotel would provide (free) breakfast, which was my... More

We visited London during the Easter weekend and stayed at The Jade due to the location and easy access to South Kensington and a minutes walk to the Underground. Having just come back from Paris we found this excellent value for money, The staff were very pleasant and took us and our bags to the room. It was a very... More

Stayed two nights recently. Location is great. Close to Kensington, Museums, Royal Albert Hall Number of restaurants and shops close by I should have re-read Tripadvisor before arriving. I got room LG6, lower ground. The room was small, clean, and nice. But LG rooms are Basement rooms. The Underground literally runs behind this building. Basement hear and feel the train... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
