The rooms are clean, linen changed daily, toiletries replenished. Tiny kitchenette is excellent with microwave, kettle, sink and crockery. Tea, coffee, ... added daily. The only downside is that the room and bathroom are small, otherwise excellent!

Checked in and so far everything seems far over expectation. Something strange would have to happen if it is going to be less great. Often London hotels have a lower standard then scandinavians are used to, but the Jade is over the average and therefore greater than we ever could dream of.

I found this hotel by chance after having stayed at a dismal nearby place. The staff are the front desk are ever-smiling and willing to go out of the way to help. I landed there at 11.30, much before their check in time. They were so kind as to offer me coffee and took care of my luggage. I checked... More

We stayed at the jade earls court london for five nights. Room was fine by London's standards. Comfortable bed ,room cleaned everyday with clean towels and a kitchenette. The kitchenette took some space for clothes storage but we managed. Underground very close to hotel. Superb for travelling .front desk personnel very helpful.would recommend to my friends.

We stayed one night and found the Jade very convenient, clean, comfortable and quiet which is everything we needed at a good price. Rooms are small as you expect in cities but none the worse for that. The tiny kitchen in a cupboard was very cute! It had everything you needed; tiny sink, kettle, microwave cutlery and crockery. Very friendly,... More

Stayed 3 nights at this revamped well located hotel. It was plenty big enough for my husband and I. The location was superb for travel to all parts of central London ( Earls Court Station 5 minutes walk). Bathroom was very new & the shower really powerful. One small critique, there was no mirror in the bedroom & no socket... More

The hotel is comfortable enough for a short vacation. The room was small, but good enough for one person. I expected the size based on past reviews, so no big surprise. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There is free wifi in room, but needs big improvement as it kicked me out every 5 minutes. The walls are thin... More

Its always a bit of a risk booking a hotel no-one you know has been to and relying on reviews. Looking at the 82% and the price this seemed to stand out so knew this could be interesting. I had called to check the booking was all ok which was dealt with in a professional manner and promptly a few... More

Stayed in a single room for four nights. Very small room, had to deal with my suitcase on the bed each day and store it in the closet. Bed was short (I'm fairly short) and not sure a taller person would fit in the twin bed. Bed was nestled between walls. Comfortable enough. Yes, there is some train noise, but... More

Standard rooms are tiny but well arranged so that you do not feel really squeezed-in. Bathrooms are extremely small and you literally have to pay attention about the way you move. The weak point I found is about cleanliness: really approximative. This is a shame as the hotel is well located (in Kensington, right next to the Tube station) and... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
