The jade hotel is safe hotel to stay in and the staff are very accommodating clean room. The location is near underground station which is connected to all tourist attractions in London and the station it self is surrounded by very good restaurants and cafe shops.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location - easy and close to earls court station The room was clean and bed was very comfortable The size of the double room was perfect to come back to at the end of the night to relax and sleep. The room was an odd shape which limits the amount of space you... More

Helpful staff who would always try to accommodate our needs. The Jade was ideal for our needs. Comfortable with a basic kitchenette so we could cook for ourselves. Rooms were clean and the showers were wonderful. Excellent location. Would stay again if it was for business.

Very close to Earl's Court tube station and in a lovely area. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the room clean and well designed. It was also great to have a microwave and fridge in the room!

Pros: Bed super comfy Location-3 min. walk to Earl's Court tube stop (Picadilly, District lines) Cons: -Staff not friendly or helpful -Can't sleep in if you want your room cleaned...cleaning staff only come by once a day, usually around noon. -Didn't charge me full amount so had to pay balance at check out resulting in another foreign transaction fee.

Visited the hotel since I did read some good reviews. In general the hotel in London are expensive. I choose the hotel based on earlier reviews I read and i was to be a gem. The plusses: Location is good Modern style (I like that) good internet speed The negatives: Very small room Window very high, needed to climb on... More

Clean, modern rooms. We stayed in a lower level room, which was larger than other rooms of the same type on other floors and very reasonably sized for London. Some reviewers have mentioned the noise from the tube (runs very close to the hotel) but we did not find this to be an issue. The staff was friendly and helpful... More

Standard size London rooms, certainly no smaller than other hotels in this price bracket. Good quality linen and bedding. Efficient check in. Free coffee in reception was a nice touch. If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful base, within easy reach of central London, I see no reason not to recommend The Jade, especially with prices as low... More

Tiny room, scalding water in the shower (no cold water), the repair guy had to come and go all the time to adjust things. TV sideways. Bad lighting in the room. Noise from other rooms. Not enough light to read in bed. A strange frying noise coming from the air ventilation, even after turned off. Electric appliances did not work... More

I stayed at the Jade for 3 days and I loved it! All the linen was high quality, location was excellent, free coffee in the lobby, excellent wifi, great staff. The rooms are definitely on the small side but I would definitely recommend it! It was close to everything.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
