I had been slightly worried but some of the comments on TA but the hotel was first class the staff were friendly and as I had a ground floor room I did not have to climb many stairs. The room was spotless and the breakfast was adequate. Some of the internal plumbing was a bit noisy but it was fine.... More

This hotel is perfect for a short London stay. It offers affordable small, but very clean, quiet rooms and an ample breakfast. The hotel is within a 5 minute walking distance to Paddington Station and a short walk to Hyde Park. If you really like to walk, as we do, walking to all the London Museums and Buckingham Palace is... More

I stayed here after arriving late one night from Heathrow. The hotel was about 2 mins walk from Paddington Station and there were lots of restaurants around to grab a late supper. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were on the first floor so no stairs to navigate with luggage which was great. The room was compact and fine... More

I stayed in the Cardiff for a weekend on my way home from a long trip. Hotel was walking distance (with luggage) from Paddington Station. I like the neighborhood, lots of friendly people, good small restaurants and pubs, easy to get around. Hotel was clean, but cozy (i.e. small). The staff was very polite and helpful. Be warned, as with... More

The room was tiny and cramped, and on the fourth floor, with no lift, really thought I was going to have a heart attack dragging my luggage up eight flights of stairs, the shower is actually in the room, and equally small, wouldn't stay here again, at £68 there is cheaper about for a small single room

Rooms are small but functional .The bathroom looked clean enough, though it’s so small that it’s entirely impossible to use without getting frustrated. The sink are so tiny that you can’t even wash you hands without getting half the water on your pants! Great staff at the front desk , a great location and a good breakfast .

I've stayed in four of the Norfolk Square hotels now and the Cardiff is now my favorite. Can't beat the location for proximity to Paddington Station, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, the linens are high quality, the WiFi is good, the breakfast is tasty and best of all the bathroom is... I needed one night in Paddington last week on my way to Heathrow via Paddington. I normally stay at the Indigo, Hilton or Mercure, all excellent hotels, but thought I'd try something cheaper. I rang the Cardiff and they quoted me 39 Pounds. The immediate thought in my muddled mind was "I need to pay more, it can't be that... More

The only one value this hotel offers is the location and the price. Close to underground, in a quarter with lots of pubs, dinners etc. You can reach the centre of the city within 20minutes by bus or by underground. This is absolutely all from advantages. Now the other side of the hotel: We spent there thanks god only 2... More

It is a good choice near city centre!Room was underground without window for fresh air . It wasn't so clear and the towels had hair from others...In addition the shower has problem to imbibe the water.Furthermore breakfast was very good but the breakfast area was so small.Hotel was fool and people were waiting on the stairs to eat.
