The worst experience around Victoria for a good while, and I go there quite often for business. Single room is underground (or they call it lower ground) floor, no windows, door goes directly to the street. Its extremely noisy from both street traffic and trains, first time ever I needed the earplugs to sleep well. Wifi is slow and not... More

Stayed here for one night as my baby daughter was in London for a photoshoot. The hotel is located in a prime location near Victoria Station. We were booked a triple room by the company that was doing the shoot. The room was very nice and way more up to date than the outside of the hotel would suggest. As... More

A basic principle of booking hotels in London in the summer is that there are no bargains: if the price of a place is noticeably cheaper than other properties, there's a reason for it. That was my experience with this hotel behind Victoria Station: a great location at hardly more than half the price of other tourist properties. Seemed like... More

The twin room was a reasonable size, clean and nicely decorated. The shower was excellent. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful. We hadn't stayed in the Victoria area before but would definitely do so again and would use this hotel as it's close to Victoria station/bus station and within reasonable walking distance of lots of interesting sights. There are numerous... More

Lovely little hotel, great location easy access to most London attractions, Victoria underground 5 minutes walk away, spotlessly clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great stay, we will definitely return.

I stayed for 7 nights with my sister in June in a twin room. It was in the building opposite the main hotel on the third floor. The room was small but perfectly designed with everything one needs including a very comfortable bed, plenty of sockets, TV, kettle with tea, coffee and milk, heating/air con (the temperature controls are very... This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was small, but perfect for one person and very clean and comfortable. Conveniently located to both Victoria rail and coach stations, which was just what I needed. Some rooms, such as mine, may get noise from departing trains. Many good restaurant and pub choices within easy walking distance. Nice walk to many famous... More

This hotel is very close to Victoria Station and numerous choices for food (in all price ranges). The rooms were small but comfortable. The beds were harder then usual (at less by American standards). This was one of the least expensive hotels I could find in the area that we were looking for (although it was still a lot more... This hotel is very conveniently located to the Victoria tube station and bus. Shopping and pubs also close by. We stayed in the family room which is a little tight for four but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fine and coffee/tea available in the room. No refrigerator in the room which would be nice. Would stay there again.

this hotel was so very handy to Victoria tube and the bus depot. Also near walking distance to the palace. The only thing the hotel did not have I the rooms was a fridge, tea and coffee were free in the breakfast room. We did not have breakfast there as we were out and about touring. We found London very... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
