4 couples stayed overnight on our way to final destination. Even if the hotel was very well located for our purpose, sited close to Victoria station, I cannot recommend the place. Our party of 8 people was spread around at different parts of the hotel, which was fine. The problem was that no one was able to sleep much due... More

We stayed at the Comfort Inn at Buckingham Palace Road for one night. We chose this hotel because we were only staying one night, knew we would be a bit drunk when we got back there (it was St. Patty's Day!) so the comfort of the bed wouldn't present an issue and due to the proximity to Victoria Station and... Location100% Check in 100% Staff 100% Comfort100% Amenities100% Cleanliness=spotless One small thing that takes away from stay is the noise from trains passing regularly at night. But I must admit that myself and the missus (both 35yrs) are good sleeper s and still found it very acceptable , I might add my parents (both65yrs) got reasonable rest also." So thumbs... More

I'm on the road 100 days/year and have been doing this for the last 10 years. Out of all the hotels anywhere in the world this is the worst I've ever stayed in. I was given a room in the basement (they call it 'lower ground floor') with almost no daylight. The room was located under the sidewalk and above... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night, after travelling to London to attend a job interview the following day. Check in was fast and painless, although a smile from the receptionist wouldn't have gone amiss! I was quickly informed that I had been upgraded to a family suite after booking a single room online for £75. Arriving at the... More

The location is definitely the biggest plus of this hotel. Room are nothing special but they got what you need and they're clean. A good place to be if you know you're not going to spend a lot of time in the hotel.

The location is easy to find right next to Victoria coach station. The rooms are very clean and good value for money. You do hear the trains passing at night but as an urban dweller this was nothing compared to road traffic and sirens. Will definitely stay here again

It was in the Perfect location, across the road from Victoria Station which has tubes/trains/buses to everywhere. We were actually across the road from the reception but you could only access it with your room key which was fine plus a 2 hour reception. Lovely room with all that you would need. It looks like it was newly refurbished and... More

I stayed for 3 nights in March, in a single room. It was in the building opposite the main hotel, but was fine. The room was very small but perfectly formed. It had everything you need, comfy bed, plenty of sockets, TV, heating, air con, kettle with tea, coffee and milk, and a great shower. There was a wardrobe and... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
