Centrally located. a 5 - 7 minutes walk to the Bayswater Station / Queensway Station. A good hotel to stay if you need a grocery store nearby (Sainsbury and some asian grocery place), mid range restaurants and fast food (burger king, chinese restaurants), even a neighborhood mall for any last minute buys. Stayed at the one bedroom apartment. Expect to... More

This place has an excellent and very helpful staff. I needed to print out tickets for a show we were attending. The desk clerk (I wish I could remember his name) printed the tickets for me and gave me some suggestions for parts of the city we might also enjoy visiting. The apartment was very nice and the bed was... More

We stayed for 2 nights, 6 friends to watch a show in the west end. Close to the tube stations and easy to get into the centre of London. The pull out sofas were not very comfy. On arrival one was broken and despite 2 phone calls it was not sorted out until the next day. We put stools underneath... More

Nice concept with appartments, where they brought the breakfast to the room. We liked us very much, and our appartment was quite and good. The sofabed was hard and not comfy, but the beds was nice. Pitty, since all guests should sleep well. Recommend this one!

The hotel is located next to Queensway Mall and in an active tourist neighbourhood. So one feel safe even coming back late night.Walking distance to 2 tube stations and 10 mins walk to bus stops along Bayswater Road.A main route for busses:Many restaurants and many Halal ones. Next to a green park.Although a private one,our room overlooks it.It is a retrofitted... More

My husband and I stayed here for four nights with our teen son. The location is excellent, quiet street with many restaurants and a market nearby, just a short walk to Kensington Gardens. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was on the smaller side but larger than more expensive places I have stayed in other cities like Paris... More

Stayed in this property in April for 4 nights. Given the price we paid, the room was very spacious and clean, one of the largest we stayed in London. the accompanying small kitchen, dining table and sofa all made our stay a very comfortable one. the locations is also superb, a few minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of... We had booked an "apartment" hotel, the three of us. We were expecting an "apartment"! Apparently the definition in the UK is not the same as in the US. When we got there, the three of us, we had ONE ROOM, plus bath. Two twin beds and one pull out sofa--which took up so much of the room that we... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighborhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
