Stayed or two nights on a leisure break as we wanted to visit the Tower of London. Great location for this and for seeing The City modern architecture such as the Gherkin and the Walkie Talkie. Easy access via tube to west end and shopping, although we stayed local for the evening. Decent pub and food as part of the... More

We had a lovely room, great view, walking distance from Tower of London, tower bridge, best fish and chips ever at minories pub under the arches. Will stay here again. Great value for 4* and breakfast was very very well done. Staff super friendly and helpful. Tip: bar prices are a bit steep if you fancy a beer pop across... More

We only visited the restaurant / bar next to the hotel and did not stay at the hotel, so cannot comment on the accommodation. The menu was very ordinary and nothing outstanding. We ordered fish and chips. When it arrived the batter was soggy and grey. Not at all appealing. The gin and tonics were fine.

The hotel was located in a business district, can access to Tower Bridge by walking , other than that it was quite far from other tourist spots such as theatres, shopping areas etc. We took the shared airport transfer, and was the last one to drop off as our location was the farthest fr airport. The trip took about one... More

As a female business traveller it's important for me to feel comfortable, safe and valued. The Chamberlain provides all this, and more. A truly delightful hotel with great service and personal touches. The staff are lovely and the food and drinks consistently good. Always a pleasure.

Really impressed. Love the fact in luxury room I had bath and separate shower cubicle with super powerful rain shower. Loved that face flannels and soap (not just shower gel) were provided. Spacious rooms and good facilities. Only downside was hearing people in room above me walking around most of the night and early morning. If I return and I... More

The room was great, comfortable beds, good decor. Service was impeccable with nothing too much trouble for the staff. Decent cups of tea and terrific beers, not bad wine either. And food was delicious and well presented - Masterchef style. Only moan was the drunken revellers outside on a Friday night.

The Chamberlain hotel at The Minories near the Docklands is an old hotel with lots of character. I loved very much the spacious pub with very good beers. The rooms are well equipped, clean and quiet.
