The Chamberlain was our base of operations in London, in a strategic position very close to the Tower Hill. Being in the City, this area is very quite during the weekend, but with the Aldgate tube you go everywhere in 15 mins, being in the Circle line (yellow) it reached directly some main attractions with no changes. The hotel is... More

I have stayed at the Chamberlain several times and always found it to be a relaxing break. I recently stayed last week and got great service in the bar. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I was very surprised to also find out that over the last week they have had almost half of their bar staff off... More

Sat here waiting as I have been for the past twenty minutes. I only ordered a salmon starter and a seafood linguine. Starter shows very nice! Main course tastyish, but used frozen seafood I think. Parmesan made a big difference. Food was fine but I would not rush here

I've stayed at the Chamberlain a few time, last time in 2008 - this time we stayed next door at the Indigo but decided to eat on Saturday night at the Chamberlain as the food used to be quite good. Have to be honest and say we'll never set foot in there again. We were the only 3 people in... More

My wife and I stayed at the Chamberlain for 6 days in June of this year. The room was clean and comfortable and away from the street so there was no problem with noise. The location was great, a 5 minute walk to the tube and the Tower. It's location in the financial section makes it a little less busy... More

Stayed for two nights over the Bank Holiday week-end. Very happy with our stay. It was chosen simply on price at £96 a night including full breakfast. The location is fine if you are happy to have to travel almost everywhere but Tube and Bus are only minutes away. The Hotel does have a somewhat dated feel but its the... More

My daughter and I stayed for 6 nights in July and loved it. The staff was very helpful with directions and our room was ready when we arrived at noon after a long flight from the U.S. The room was very large and comfortable. The restaurant was nice and the breakfast was a good start to the day. It was... More

This hotel is lovely, the rooms are a great size especially for a hotel in London. it's in a great location near to Aldgate tube station. The breakfast was just the thing to set you up for the day. The staff were helpful we would definitely stay here again on our next visit to London.
