We didnt stay in the hotel but today had a pub lunch in the pub bit. Best pub lunch I've probably ever had. I had gammon chips and egg my husband had cod and chips. Delicious! Triple cooked chips, yum. Service great, lovely laid back atmosphere on a Saturday afternoon after a trip to the Tower. I would imagine its... More

Stayed here for 3 nights. The room was nice. Staff were friendly. Great location close to the tower and train stations. Restaurant is a little pricey. Breakfast started at £13.00 per person we went a block down and found restaurants that wee much more reasonable.

For a first time in the City of London this hotel was well situated for walking along the Thames River from Tower Bridge to the London Eye, with all the famous landmarks along the way. Close to the DLR train station for access to the O2 Arena and Docklands areas, and close to the subways for trips further across the... More

After 2 horrendous nights in a nearby chain hotel, we walked in to this hotel on Sunday morning asking if they had spare rooms for Sunday and bank holiday Monday. Fortunately, they had a luxury double at the quieter back part of the hotel at a very reasonable price. We checked in there and then and what a good decision... More

We chose the hotel for its location and in this respect found it very convinient as it was very close to both the City and Canary Wharf was a ten minute drive away. It is also extremely close to the Tower of London if one has time for a little sight seeing and within walking distance from a number of... More

It is extremely hard to find a good and not freakishly over-priced hotel in London. But this hotel might just be perfect choice. The Chamberlain is conveniently located, has a nice ambiance and friendly staff. The room wasn't perhaps too big, but rather comfy (nice bed), although the windows weren't soundproof, as well as the floor, so I could hear... More

This is a surprisingly nice hotel if you get a good deal, better then other hotels at this price in any case. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom is also spacious. However the water in the shower wasn’t warm enough and the sink was clogged. Internet is free of charge and works very well. Breakfast is nice;... More
