I arrived at midnight, discovered I had to pay for my WiFi. After I paid I was told that, oh by way, the room that I have does not get Good reception and that I may have to use my phone in the lobby, which was what I had to do. The guy at the desk was very helpful in... More

The hotel is situated in a very handy area , near 2 tube stations and near Paddington train station. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the bathroom. The man at the reception was very kind and changed our room on a lower floor when we requested. The breakfast staff always willing to serve with a nice... More

Do yourself a favour and give this place a miss. I now regret not consulting this website's reviews before deciding to book there. Although we didn't see any of the infamous cockroaches my wife spotted a "roach trap" placed in the hallway so clearly they do have "roach issues"! We had a room out the back below ground level which... More

For real? I stayed here about 7 years ago and it was the worst hotel ever, like something out of a movie. There was a cockroach in our room (and I see by other reviews here that they still have this problem). They blamed us for letting in cockroaches by leaving the window open (how else are we supposed to... More

To charge 62 pounds p.p. a night for a rat's nest like this should be criminal. The room was situated below ground level, with no natural light coming in. At night time we nearly froze to death in was they called a "bed". After a couple of nights sleeping in this hotel we began suffering from severe back pain. (Had... More

Location is great, just a 5min walk from Paddington station. But the hotel.. change if you still can ;) We needed to report at a different hotel as there was no staff in our hotel. They have basement rooms, which seem like a broomcupboard! I requested something better and got a room on the second floor, which was somewhat better... More

The hotel was ideally situated for our 3 day 2 night stop in London .Our room was clean with what seemed like a recently refurbished bathroom. The room layout could have been better utilised with shelves in one of the alcoves where tea and coffee making facilities would have been welcomed. We were not overly concerned with the old portable television,{with... More

We only stayed here one night on the way back from a trip to Paris but the comparison between the Beverley City and our lovely little hotel in Paris that cost nearly £20 per night less couldn't have been more marked. We had to report to the Nayland Hotel a couple of doors down to check in as there is... More

I guess it's on par with other hotels in this area. Not cheap, tiniest room I've ever seen, 10 Euros for internet access, lousy breakfast. The only good thing I have say about this hotel, it was 7 minute walk from Paddington station. You couldn't pay me to stay here again. I take that back. You could pay me, but... More
