This was a great hotel for us. In a fine location and affordable via trivago. clean and new and accommodating. three of us stayed in the same room and were very comfortable. Big Ben, Westminister Cathedral, the Tate Galery, the Themes, but not too many restaurants close by. A couple of pubs for fish and chips.

I'll start by saying that this hotel is in good decorative order with some nice interior design touches in the common areas. Rooms are functional and well-equipped, if a little spartan as far as decoration goes. The location is excellent, with Parliament Square, Victoria Station and Shopping District, and the Tate Britain all a short walk away. There, the positives... More

It was a pleasant stay. The hotel was hidden, away from the main road!! Our room was nice and clean. The view was not great as we could only see scaffoldings!!! The shower was intermittent, first cold then hot then warm then cold again. It gave us a sad face really :( The breakfast was delicious but no warm milk... More

We spent 3 nights in early August. The great location- close to several major attractions, tube and restaurants made this a great choice. The breakfast was excellent and the large dining room handled the the guests well. The concierge,Lorenzo, was wonderful---arranging airport and cruise ship transfers, directions , restaurants, etc. The one and only negative was we found the hotel... More

Not to be mistaken, this is the one at Westminster. I arrived to London and got Victoria station and right at the exit I saw Doubletree and was so exited until my friends reminded me that it was Doubletreee Victoria not Westminster. All was OK up until the last minute. My check in was quick, no one offered to help... More

The hotel was in a perfect location for me. It is next door to the Tate Britain museum. From there you can take a boat up the Thames to Tate Modern. It is also very close to Westminster Pier for boats to Kew Gardens. These were the sights I was keen to see so the location worked perfectly for me.... More

We stayed at this hotel recently and from start to finish, we were made to feel very welcome. Very nice hotel and nice room. On arrival we were given warm cookie's so that was a nice touch. Fully recommend this hotel as quite close to all main landmarks but the hotel is nice and quiet at night.

This hotel is located in Westminster so a great location if you have business in the neighborhood. The staff at the front desk is really friendly and the cookie on arrival is a nice touch. That is probably all I can say with enthusiasm. I stayed there a few times for business and each time the place felt somewhat basic.... More

Clean, modern rooms. Ideally situated for central London and quiet too Staff were very helpful and the buffet style breakfast was good value.Ask for breakfast voucher at reception and pay just £15. We stayed for 4 nights (family of four) and would recommend this hotel.

It's a 5-7 minute walk from Pimlico and a 10-12 minute walk from Westminster. Check in was fine. The room was nice but not knock out, we had a suite due to their being myself, my wife and my 6 year old son. Shower is powerful. View was rubbish due to building going on in front of the hotel. Be... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
