This hotel did not disappoint, we booked two rooms and both rooms were clean and a good size. Wifi was also included, staff were really friendly and breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. I would recommend this hotel and definitely use it again.

Booked a room in the Westminster Double tree as a Birthday surprise for my wife. Got really well looked after on check-in. Got our room early and an added surprise of a Birthday card. Room was bright and comfortable, compact but not overly cramped shower room. iMac in room is a bonus on being able to look up where to... More

This was our second stay and we were personally welcomed by the wonderful manager, Simon Morpuss and the reception staff were efficient, friendly and the warm cookie we were given on arrival was delicious. The Westminster Suite which has stunning views over the city, was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The choice of food for breakfast was fresh and varied... More

Amazing service. I arrived in a large 5 series and immediately the concierge said leave the car outside in reserved bay as its big. Thanks well impressed. Room lovely. iMac in room super quiet. Breakfast was lovely choice and good food. Location safe walking to town or Pimlico tube. Will def be back. Staff were excellent. Well done to all... More

I have been staying at this hotel for business for three years now and is always a trusted favourite in the itinerary. The staff are friendly and remember you. The hotel is clean and in a fabulous location. The only comment would be about very small bathrooms however they have maximised the real estate and no amenities are compromised.

Taking my sister for her first 'Afternoon Tea', this was such a disappointing experience! Sandwiches were abysmal with hardly any filling and no seasoning (not even salt & pepper on the table), had to ask for the champagne and tea (which was weak and had about 12 tea leaves in the pot), the banoffee pie was unpalatable, cakes were either... I stayed here for one night only and I found the hotel nice. Check in was friendly and efficient but he forgot to programme my key for Exec Lounge access, even though he'd told me about it. The room was clean but the bathroom was really small. The Exec Lounge was nothing to write home about, with no windows and... More

Only stayed here once for one night but found it a lovely place. Room was a good size and well appointed - Apple Mac a nice touch. Bathroom a little on the small side but there was only me - so more than adequate. No flaws or niggles to report. Would recommend for business or leisure.

Fantastic hotel, great value for money, would recommend without hesitation, Westminster suite was a fantastic place to rest with stunning views of the city, will be staying again in the future, Staff were extremely helpful, allowing us to leave our car in the car park 4 hours before check in time & also allowed us to check out an hour... I've stayed at the Doubletree a couple of times now when on business in London. I wouldn't stay anywhere else now! From the free warm (and yummy) cookie at check-in to raise those flagging sugar levels to the final check out the entire stay is a hassle free one. Minor niggles are the door entry cards - my colleague had... More

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
