You get what you pay for - limited service and tiny rooms, but you do have a correct breakfast (again for the price) and free-wifi - all hotels in that neighbourhood and that price range don't necessarily have this. Rooms and linen are clean.

This is a no-frills hotel near to Kings Cross and Bloomsbury, which for me is extra convenient for short stopovers in London. However, Bloomsbury is full of tiny, private, cheap hotels in a similar price range to the Montana Excel, and having stayed in a few of them, there are some things which let the Montana down.
