We found the room very small. Three people in a room with one double bed and one twin is too small. The restaurant attached only served East Indian Cuisine, not to my taste, so had to search the city block for restaurant that served Western foods.

Sweet little hotel with a nice and helpful staff, was there for four nights with my friend though the room wasn't gigantic it satisfied our needs the beds was comfy, the shower which was private had the necessary means... The hotel serves a continental breakfast which was splendid and the wifi which could only be logged on in the "cafeteria"... More

The Montana excel is a old fashion houses converted into a hotel. the rooms are fine for those who are just sleeping there. When i arrived i was greeted by a very friendly and knowledgeable lady. I checked in and went to my room. It was then that i found that the toilet on the floor was out of order... More

I think I should have read other people's reviews more carefully prior to booking as I would not have gone ahead with the booking. Thank goodness it was only for one night! The location is a bonus and very close to Kings Cross and St Pancras. That is the only plus. As a family of two adults and two children... More

Considering the prices of accommodation in London, we were very happy with the Hotel Montana. By no means luxurious, but it's clean, spacious and very central in King's Cross. Perfect for a 1 night stopover if travelling through.

Fantastic location with really friendly staff from the manager to the reception staff to the housekeeping/breakfast room staff. The room was clean and just what we needed. The shower was awesome! There is also... More

We arrived at the hotel only to find out that the request we had written was ignored "ground floor or near lift one disabled client". We were given a basement room which was accessed by a very steep staircase. We immediately questioned the young man who was at the desk and pointed out our written request, he was unsure what... We decided to stay close to St Pancras train station because we had an early train trip to France and decided on the Montana hotel. We found also that King Cross station was nearby making access to London very easy. Walking distance from the Montana hotel is 5 minutes to either St Pancras and Kings Cross stations and there are... Hotel in good location, literally 5 minutes from Kings Cross. Is in a very quiet area but inside the hotel you can hear everything from people talking to water running early in the morning. The running water (which I assume was from running taps) did get extremely annoying after a while. The room was clean although very run down, it... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
