This is the second time we have stayed here in three years and absolutely love it. The staff are so friendly, helpful and go out of there way to help. Chris and his lovely female assistant on the front desk know absolutely everything g you ask the and also Peter in the breakfast room and bar are absolutely 'spot on'... More

After trawling the net for a good 2 night deal 3 weeks prior to going we found this! We felt dubious due to some reviews but as we were going to London to be out all day long we only needed a hotel as a base we took a punt! Literally a 2mins walk from st pancras/kings cross so no... More

Great location – near to tube, good service – coffee facilities in the room and friendly staff. Free wi-fi and breakfast included in the room rate (yes, the breakfast area is relatively small, in the morning at 7.00AM it is ok, after it is not so easily to find free chair).

With no lift and lots of fire doors the small rooms in this Hotel are difficult to access . The breakfast room situated in the cellar is OK and the limited food range is adequate for a short stay . Unfortunately we had a problem with our check out due to the poor attitude of the elderly lady in reception... More

Very short walk from Kings Cross station, friendly and efficient greeting! Stayed in family room 9 and it was clean, comfortable and warm. Quiet neighbourhood opposite a park. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for a few nights on my way through London. The staff are reasonably friendly but the room was very tiny although was relatively quiet. It was also really hot at night. How people stay here in the heat of summer I do not know. The bathrooms were also shared and were OK. For breakfast you got cooked sausages... More

However, our room was extremely small and it reeked of cigarettes, though it was a non-smoking room. The staff was very kind and helpful, though. The location was perfect for visiting most sites. We will give the Montana another chance, but will insist on a better room

Excellent location for King's Cross & St Pancras Stations, just across the road in a quiet square. At £80 B&B for a twin room, it was even cheaper than the nearby Travelodges. Our room (no 7) was the quietest we have ever had in London (we heard nothing from either inside or outside the hotel all night), so we got... More

This hotel is not luxurious, nor does it claim to be one,but it served my purposes for my resent stay in London.Very close to Saint Pancras Sataion,King's Cross Station such that my movements were made very easy. Apart from the free morning rich break fast, there are a lot of restaurants and fast food very close by.There also many ATM closely.Staff... More

Needed a stopover night in London, and my usual budget haunt was full so I picked the Montana instead since I had stayed there before - and yes, it was cheap, so I knew not to expect much, but there are certain basics that are fairly necessary. Hot water? No. Working TV? No, even after four separate remotes were tried.... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
