Nice clean Hotel. Pleasant and helpful staff. We never got back to the hotel before 8 pm. We really only used the hotel for sleeping, showering, and breakfast. Breakfast was good. 7 pounds for the full English. On the Blue line of the Big Bus so easy to get to. Taxi from the centre to hotel cost 10 pounds.

We booked this hotel because of location. Very close to Kings Cross station which was also Piccadilly line from Heathrow and only a few stops into central London. Also was just a short walk to Euston station for trains North. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room is what we expected for the price which was treated as a base for... More

We booked this hotel due to location and price but this was a very poor hotel. The room was clean but the breakfast was the worst I have ever tasted cold. Bacon was rock hard and the toast was just cold bread. I did say to the reception but they did not say much about it. The room was very... More

Great location, close to King's Cross station for onward travel to the rest of London and beyond. Great price, hotel very basic but for the price paid can't complain, main thing was room was clean. Breakfast room can get very crowded at peak times but if you are in a hurry and can't wait there are plenty of other options... More

If I had it to do over again, I'd definitely have picked a different place. The shower was not clean, the shared toilets (one per floor) were not suitable, and I felt unsafe on the steep and slippery stairs. That said, the staff were friendly, the view was lovely, and you can't beat the location. I was also kind of... More

We booked this hotel based on location and the price included breakfast and free wi fi. The reviews were helpful, as always, a mix of opinions. On arrival, the booking in was quick and efficient. Our room was in the basement and next to the dining room, in the morning we could hear noise from tables/chairs being moved and general... More

I visited London on business for three nights and found this hotel to be the cheapest. I wasn't expecting much so I was surprised when the quality was so high for only £55 per night. The room was a good size with tea and coffee facilities, a safe in the large double wardrobe and was immaculately presented. Cleanliness: the room... More

Okay, let me start by saying that we booked this hotel at a brilliant price and after reading some of the reviews, we were slightly apprehensive! We had been to Paris for the weekend, and planned on spending 2 nights in London before heading home. For the price we paid, we could not believe how close it is to Kings... More

This hotel is very close to Kings Cross railway station (2min walk) and surprisingly quiet. The hotel looks fresh from the outside and better than the photos. The inside is clean and smart, this is a budget hotel however for the price and location, cannot be beaten. The room (double with shared bathroom) was big enough, with TV and ample... More

I stayed at this Hotel on fri 5th dec 2014, (1) the carpet in the room looked like it had never been vaccumed, (2) there was body hairs in the wash basins and shower rooms not clean at all. cups had tea stains.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
