Rooms: good. The beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and neat, the desk was good enough, and so was the television (and WiFi!): basically that's all we needed (note: no minibar included). Breakfast: okay. It was pretty much standard (nothing fancy), but still much better than most of the hotels in (Greater) London are offering - at least, as far... More

This was great! & not overly expensive either! Again only stayed the one night ( as we were down in the capital for an event we'd come to 2weeks prior to this visit, for Secret Cinema) but I have to stay a lot more comfortable than the hotel we'd stayed in before at a Hilton Hotel, in Olympia in London.... Title says it all really, good, clean and comfy room but mediocre dinner and awful breakfast! I've never had a salad garnish served as a 'slice' of lettuce before and the morning (reconstituted) scrambled eggs were inedible! This HIE is a typical short stay city hotel but if I'd had to pay the advertised 'rack' price of £275 I would... More

Had a lovely warm welcome when I arrived close to midnight for a two night stay. The gentleman that booked me in explained the way the hotel worked and directed me where I could legally park my car. My room was very well appointed, clean and the shower was massive. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were graded, soft... More

The most important thing for business travellers: I had great fast wifi the whole day long in my room. You have to pay something if you transfer too much data, but the price is acceptable. The room had a nice working desk at the window and otherwise was really nice with a TV with HDMI and USB slots. The only... More

We stayed here recently for a night away. It is a beautiful and clean hotel. Staff were helpful and kind. The location of the hotel is perfect. Close to the shops and tube station. Price was reasonable and rooms were nice. Brilliant location to Stratfield Shopping Centre and Olympic Park. Breakfast was pretty weak but it was free! Would recommend... More

Stayed here just after the games in August to soak up the remaining atmosphere of London. Price was reasonable and rooms were very nice. Brilliant location to Stratfield Shopping Centre and Olympic Park. Breakfast was pretty weak but it was free! Would recommend if price was right.

We stayed at the Express Holiday Inn for one night at the end of July. As soon as we arrived the staff were very friendly, helpful and happy to chat to us. Our double room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed, although we could have done with more coffee, sugar and milk but I'm sure these would have... More

We stayed for one Saturday night in late July 2014. We arrived later in the evening and got a nice welcome. Check-in was speedy having booked everything via their website. We had to drive and parked the car in the hotel car park which is small - maybe 20 spaces including disabled spaces. There were only two spaces left and... More

If being closer to central London is not a priority then this hotel is convenient to Westfield mall for shopping and eating. Transport links are good with trains, buses and underground nearby. Rooms are very basic and beds quite hard. Breakfast can be congested if the hotel is full. You get what you pay for….3 stars.
