My room was tiny, and the bed was small as well (definitely not a 2 person bed, as was stated in the description). The hotel's interior looked pretty old, 80s style. Wifi worked only half the time. Breakfast was nice though, and the location of the hotel is really good. But all in all this is way overpriced.

Cheap hotel in central location. On the surface clean room, but more attention to detail required with a duster. Room very small with tiny ensuite which had a nasty smell from drains. Breakfast was basic but adequate for price and staff had a very poor grasp of the English language making simple requests a challenge. My biggest concern is a... More

We stayed here for two nights. Room was barely 6 feet wide. Good thing it was not hot. Hardly room to open suitcases. Breakfast was disappointment. Cold cereal, small yogurt and toast. No fruit. Barebones place - definitely look around for other places unless this is all you can afford. Good location to Victoria Station. Was very expensive room for... More

We actually got what we expected when staying at this hotel (cheap and nasty) but it would be a much nicer place if the staff just got up and did a few small things to make you feel comfortable. They almost seem unhappy that your checking in. When leaving this place it should also be noted that the hotel reception... More

Made the reservation online clearly specifying to be accommodated in a lower floor room since my mom had mobility difficulties. Not only they didn't seem to have paid attention to this request and letting me know in advance their only family room was on the top floor (after several narrow steps!), but were also REALLY rude when we asked to... My partner and I stayed for one night only, thankfully. For what you get, it is overpriced. Location is great. Staff weren't very welcoming and made us feel like we were bothering them. Breakfast was a choice of 3 cereals, toast with jam and some yoghurt. Bed was uncomfortable and I woke up regularly. Bathroom is shared. I wasn't that... More

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, on a lovely street and ever so near to Victoria station. The rooms are clean. The bathroom was small and had nothing to provide comfort with, just very plain and simple. The shower wasn't good. Only one little tablet of soap per person, no shower gel or shampoo. And even the soap was of... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
