Since I needed a hotel in London for my family for a couple of days only, and I did not mind a "budget/tourist" place, I chose "St. George's Hotel" in Pimlico/Victoria (St. George's Drive). I thought that it would be fine, as Eurostar thad it listed as a favorite. I am having a very hard time understanding why anyone would... more

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in a double room. Upon arrival we pressed the buzzer, to which we were answered with a woman in a harsh tone, asking us why we pressed the buzzer. Once we were eventually let in, we were greeted (if thats what you could call it) with a cold, blank stare from... more

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It's in a nice area, close to tourist attractions and transport links but the hotel itself is awful. Our double room was just about big enough to fit in a bed and 2 bedside tables and it looked like it hadn't been decorated since the 70s. I have to admit,... more

Because of the threat of identity theft by the manager I am unable to give full details of the horrific night I spent in this place. Suffice it to say that you would be better off sleeping on a park bench than staying in this hellhole. Some of the reviews are surreal to put it mildly. The matter is now... more

This is just one of many hotels I stay in on my annual trips to Europe. It's a basic hotel in a great location-a five minute walk to the tube-Victoria Station: get buses from there too. Rooms are tiny-compared to American hotels, but clean. But other priciers hotels, i.e. Millenium Bailey's is also small (Singles mean one bed=one person) compared... more

My friend and I stayed here due to its close proximity to Victoria station. It was about a 15-20 minute walk from Victoria coach station. It cost us £75 a night, including breakfast. We stayed in the "115" building, which is where the Reception was located. We arrived only to be greeted with: "Weren't you supposed to be here yesterday?"... more

Ridiculously priced (£90 a night), looks like the set of Rising Damp nevermind Fawlty Towers. No iron in the whole hotel. TV didn't work. Room was tiny. Acrylic sheets. Staff were asleep in reception. Stupid check out time of 10 on a Sunday. Unapologetic staff. To top it all off, the fat, greasy owner got abusive and physical when we... more

I stayed at St. George's Hotel on St. George's Street, Pimlico, London for 4 nights. I arrived at the hotel about 10 am after a 7am arrival at Heathrow. I was pleased to find that I could check in immediately. The single, en suite room at the back of the hotel was clean and quiet. The shower was glass-doored and... more

Stay elsewhere. The place hasn't been upgraded since some time in the 1960s. Got stuck in a room on the top floor, which involved traipsing up and down four flights of stairs. The staff were a real experience. Getting a wake up call was a challenge and they actually refused to order a taxi. The location is fine but it's... more
