I have just spent one night at the St George's hotel, located within walking distance to Victoria Station in central London. On the surface, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this property: the sheets were clean, the ensuite bathroom was immaculate, and the television worked. Nothing at all special, but is still great value for money within walking distance to... More

I spent two nights at this hotel. It really is a place to stay for those looking for nothing but a bed. First the positive. The location is the best thing it has going for it as it's about a 10 minute walk from Victoria Station. The breakfast is delicious and is more than just a continental breakfast. They also... More

Great value and located within walking distance of central London and tube station. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. Small room but we were out and about so didn't require a room to actually live in only to sleep in! I would definitely stay here again. Great value, clean and in a fairly quiet street considering... I have to admit, I was rather late to book an hotel in London. The St George's Hotel is fine and not as expensive as a lot of other hotels in London. Actually it is a bed and breakfast more than an hotel. I booked by phone and that went great. The staff is very helpful and nice. Especially because... More

the concierge was very helpful to direct us to the nearest FedEx office, the valets were friendly and attentive, housekeeping was excellent, and the front desk personnel made us feel so welcome every time we walked in the door.

Looking for a central London hotel can be a little hit or miss, but this one is a real gem. Extremely competitive rate which included a lovely breakfast, and although the rooms were not enormous, they were lovely and clean. The staff were friendly too. Definitely going to stay there again. Warning though that there is no lift so prepare... More

My son & I spent 2 nights here. The room was usual London size, spotless, very comfortable bed and clean, well-equipped bathroom. We were checked in quickly but weren't ready for the slog up 4 floors of narrow stairs - got to dislike those pretty quickly. The hotel is in a quiet street - don't know if there is any... More

Stayed for one night but could have happily stayed longer. Lovely friendly clean hotel. The staff couldn't do enough for you especially the young porter. My sister who also stayed there with me was suffering from a bad back at the time and was using ice packs which the staff happily popped in the freezer for her. On the day... More

Arranged a short one night stay to bring my wife to London as she had never visited before and we went to see a show as well. The hotel spans across a couple of buildings. Parking could be a problem during the week as there are residential permits parking bays. But at the weekend, these do not apply, so you... More

stayed for 1 night room basic but clean, however bathroom not on suite and had to walk up a flight of stairs to bathroom, which was very dated and not particularly clean. although the location was excellent as a lone female traveller I did feel vulnerable having to walk up a flight of stairs to the bathroom in the middle...
