Very good accommodation, friendly service and very well placed for transport. It was not a problem in any way but there were no lifts. Only a couple of minutes from Kings Cross St Pancras station and not too far to walk to the British Museum.

Nice and clean hotel. Towels were changed daily and it has coffee and tea in the bedroom. It's nearby the subway, there's a park in front of it and some convenient shops just around the corner. The breakfast could be improved and the size of the room where it is served as well. Friendly staff.

This hotel is located just 3 mins away from kings cross station, such a centrally located hotel. Very friendly environment most of all clean and towels changed every single day. Breakfast was just great and staff very welcoming and helpful. Will surely be back when staying again in London.

Nothing bad to say about this hotel. Really comfortable, great location (perfectly connected with the subway), very clean and quiet and with nice people over there. Our stay was short but we really enjoyed.

Cozy hotel for cheap, I had a small room with private bathroom and toilet with a view of the street and a small park, there was a little noise from the hallway shared with 2 other rooms but otherwise then I heard no noise. This cosy hotel is located approximately 2 minutes ' walk from King's Cross Station, so there... More

I regularly stay in London on business (but without the expense account!) so look for value and this place is tremendous. Clean and comfy room, just over the road from King's Cross and St Pancras but I'd driven down at the weekend and was able to park LITERALLY outside the front door, free. (If you don't know, there's tons of... More

Me and my friend stayed in this hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of December. When booking our room, we contacted the hotel to ensure that we will get Twin room with en-suite (it was not very clear while booking via Booking.com). The hotel staff got back to us immediately and was always very polite when responding to our... More

Hotel Meridiana is a rarity; a budget hotel in the heart of London that is not disgusting & disgustingly overpriced. The rooms are very small, but clean & comfortable. The ensuite was about the size of a double wardrobe, but it was a real room. I have never forgotten the shock of discovering an 'ensuite' that was a green fibreglass... More

The hotel was as you would expect for something in this location and price range in London. The room and ensuite were both very clean and tidy. The room is quite small and dated, it's fantastic as a stop over if you need to catch a train from Kings Cross/St Pancras; the hotel wouldn't suit people looking to use it... More

Ideally placed for King's Cross/St Pancras stations, but quite a walk from the main sights. Twin room was small, not a great deal of room to manoeuvre, shower room the same. Still, it served its purpose - it was warm and clean, and the beds were reasonably comfortable. As my daughter described it - it was "quirky"! Glad we were... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
