quiet location with small hotels, and at the same time close to Euston rd / Pancras / Euston station, to University College (I visited), and also (important if you are with a car) to the border of congestion charging area - the hotel is within this area, but accross Euston rd you have plenty of car parking options (I have... Room not much bigger than the bed in a basement. Narrow steep stairs hell with luggage and no help. Shower so tiny you can not bend to wash your feet. In a congestion zone so you can not drive a vehicle to this hotel without paying the London Council a congestion tax pity when you have 4 heavy bags. They... More

Have stayed here 4 times throughout the years, It is my first choice whenever I travel to London. Why you ask? The Location is superb, 2 minutes to Kings Cross station and 10-15 minutes to Euston station. You can get anywhere from here! The Rooms might seem small but to me, it´s comfy. Room 302 though is just by the... More

The hotel is right next to the King's Cross station. underground is half a minute walking distance. There are shared bathrooms on the floor and there is no lift - but you get what you pay for. The place is very clean, and the stuff is VERY FRIENDLY.

Stayed at this hotel in a twin room on Saturday night, room is basic and small but what can you expect for the price! The main thing is that it is clean, supplied tea/coffee in the room and even included a cooked breakfast, all for £92 for the 2 of us! Staff were reasonably friendly and check in process was... Hotel is located 1 block from the King's Cross and St.Pancras. A perfect location for those catching a train. The Meridiana is a low priced alternative to other costly area hotels so it was no surprise that it had little ambience and was pretty bare bones, but the lodging was adequate for my needs and it really met, but did... Fantastic location, clean and cozy. The rooms were quite small but had everything we needed. The shared toilets and showers were clean and working. Breakfast was very good and filling. The staff wasn't too friendly when compared to other experiences during our travel. I.e. we had some trouble with wifi at first and the reception advised us somewhat sourly. All... More

On arrival looked very glum. The room was not good. Bathroom was so bad we didn't have a shower. And when it came to breakfast. Were do you start. Staff did not care. They were on there phones. The cooked breakfast i could not eat, heated up sausage was so hard. Unable to cut. Never go back.

Stayed for 5 nights in a single room (303) with shared toilet/shower. The room is small yes, but it is tidy and clean and quite cosy to come 'home' to after a busy day. The TV, kettle and sink are all in good order. Breakfast is fine. Staff are not the friendliest, but are polite. The other guests are quiet,... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
