Good choice if you don't want to spend lot of money, but want a comfortable and clean place! The problem is that there is no wifi in the room, but in the reception is good. There is no breakfast too. However, is a good choice for a cheap trip. I recommend

The rooms are very small. We were put in a box room right by the stairs. With people in and out to 4am. Shouting and swearing. This hotel is great if you are under 20. I certainly would not say this is a 3 star hotel. Mould around the shower doors. We did not have the breakfast so unable to... More

Was really worried after reading some of the reviews. The room (though small) was warm, clean and the bedding spotless. We were on the ground floor at the back and had no noise problems! Had the £5 breakfast both mornings, very good value for money. Would definitely use this hotel again.

You get what you pay for. My experience was that it was more of a hostel than a hotel. I stayed in a single room which was just adequate. The room faced onto the main street and the windows are single glazed and have not been replaced in many years, thus the room was noisy & there was a draft... More

Was expecting much worse after seeing the reviews on TripAdvisor, but wasn't bad at all. Checked in with the friendly woman on the front desk and stayed one night in a single room. Had a comfortable sleep in a clean bed. Room was a little small, but was in a good condition. Only downside was the window being very thin,... More

Two minutes walk from Oxford street and therefore very handy, the rooms are very clean and a very reasonable room for the price you pay. The house keeping was doing a good job, the receptionist was pleasant and the floors weren't too noisy. It's not a proper hotel but for its price and its location in London, it's recommended.

Not many hotels allow 3-4 sharing a room and this was a bonus for us as we had a lot of chatting to get done and no one needed to feel left out. The rooms are small and there is little storage space for suitcases, but that was not a problem to us as we were staying for a long... More

We booked to stay here in January 2015 for two nights. Prior to arrival I emailed the hotel to explain I had asthma and needed an airy dust free room. When we got to the hotel our room was on the third floor and the lift was out of order and had been for more than a week. We had... More

This hotel is reasonably placed for transport links ( bakerloo line, circle and district lines) and has plenty of cafes and shops close to hand. It is just around the corner from St Mary's Hospital. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The room was clean and reasonably warm until we closed the curtains ( they were full length so covered... More

We booked in and found ourselves in a small but cosy room tucked under the stairs. First impression was depression! Decor was dated and wallpaper was peeling, bathroom was tiny with very basis toiletry items. We were woken early but people staying upstairs walking around on their laminate flooring. To be honest, it felt more like a hostel. It was... More

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
