Absolutely shocking. Avoid at all costs!!!!! The only good thing to be said is it's location and that's it. The room was like a storage cupboard and housekeeping left a lot to be desired. Never never again. You are so much better off paying the a higher price for somewhere that is at least habitable

I booked this hotel b/c it was our last night after traveling throughout England and Scotland. It was cheap and super close to Paddington station where we'd be catching the Heathrow Express. I didn't expect it to be as nice as to the hotel by Kensington Gardens where we'd spent the week before but I didn't expect it to be... More

We stayed for one night as attending a gig in London. The location is central, 5 min walk from paddington station. We had a double bedroom which was small but compact with a wardrobe, dressing table, kettle, fan, toiletries and a flat screen tv. We had no issues with the bed an both had a normal nights sleep. The window... More

Let's set the record straight on this one, there appears to be some really mixed reviews. The place is really dated, the rooms are tiny, the wifi doesn't reach the rooms, and the bed's are well past their due date. But you know what, for the price, it's totally fine. It's the cheapest place I could find in zone 1,... More

I booked a single room at quite short notice and was very satisfied with what I found. Although the room was very small, it had everything I required, including ensuite shower room and wardrobe. It was in a good area, just a short walk from Paddington Station and I got an excellent night's sleep. The room was clean with a... More

The temperamental elevator, cramped public areas, corridors and room, lack of sufficient power points, missing bathroom fixtures, stuffy, poorly ventilated, noisy room and terrible value for money (even at London's rip-off rates) make the Gresham a hotel to avoid. There are other hotels nearby that look far 'fresher' and are closer to Paddington station.

Where do I begin? Let's start with the surly, sullen, unhelpful staff which we encountered even before seeing long rips in the shabby "lobby" carpet. Too late to find another hotel, we were stuck. Our room was rundown, beds were dreadfully lumpy with sunken mattresses and creaked loudly with every movement. The toilet only flushed on occasion. When we asked... More

A decent hotel with a good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Disappointed to find that the free wifi was only available in the lobby. This was really inconvenient when we where trying to plan next days event. I would go again, if Internet was made available in the rooms.

Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't do it. I did not have high expectations, but chose this for the proximity to Hyde Park and Paddington station, and for its free wifi. Well, the wifi really is so non-functional that they basically don't have any so put that out of your head right now. But it is also uncomfortable and... More

Short weekend break, couldn't get booked into our previous hotel. Had rung through prior to arrival stating that were a little concerned after reading reviews and could we have a decent sized room with natural light. From the exterior it looks relatively respectable and the young Eastern European receptionist seemed pleasant enough. No one showed up to the room, the... More
