Considering the quality of the place, the price should be about 15-20% lower. Almost paper walls, microscopic bathroom and very VERY worn-out bed. You can hear people whispering in the next room. Stayed in room 243.

A no frills, a bit tired but perfectly reasonable. We didn't have breakfast and only stayed one night. Check in was flexible. No problems to report. The room was functional but very small, I think we would have struggles with a couple of cases.

The monthly meeting of handlebar moustache wearing bounders and scoundrels seems to come round so quickly. We stay in Paddington as it is within staggering distance of the meeting venue and a great place to explore the rest of London. At these prices it gives me more money to spend on alcohol, pocket squares and expensive socks and Mrs Carlos... More

likely in its category quite alright, after all, en suite facilities spotless and well-functioning, etc. Yet the room for two was really tiny, and moreover, there was no nightstand or board to put something on. And it would have been great to have WLAN in the room instead of just in the lobby. There are any number of similar B&Bs... More

The staff were rude upon arrival, we were early and wanted somewhere to put our bags and were made to feel it was an inconvenience for them to stow it, where there were signs saying it may be stolen. I was unsure of the hotel going into it but felt I should have given it a chance I greatly regret... More

The good points go to location as it was close to paddington station. We read good reviews with bad and thought to take a chance. The room was small and noisy, one can hear other guests private conversations from their rooms. Stayed 3 nights and sheets were never changed once. The blankets had stains and the mattress was lumpy. There was fungi... More

The location is great, the hotel is tired and in need of work. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I'm not a fan of leaving my room key at reception when I leave the hotel, but this was required. The room I was in was tiny, and luckily I was travelling alone as two people in the room would... Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
