We booked the Paddington Hotel for a low cost overnight stay following a visit to the Theatre. We caught the train to London Paddington and walked the short distance to the hotel. Their own website describes the Paddington as a Budget Hotel and that is what you get for your money, a small but clean and comfortable room at a... More

We spent two nights at the Paddington in July. It's about a 5 min walk from Paddington station. We had a room on 2nd floor. It was super small, bathroom was ridiculously small, wifi was terrible. Had to hand in your key every time you left which was sketchy. It was quiet and clean but we wouldn't stay here again.

about 10 min from paddington station and lancaster gate station so perfect to catch tube or heathrow express to airport. we were on 2nd floor which was really 3rd floor. about 15 or so steps on each floor. liked that there was door off steps to hall way which cut out noise from people coming and going. we could get... We arrived at Paddington Hotel aware that we would have a smaller room - all we needed was a comfortable bed as we would be exploring London all day, and would crash at the end of each day! We found a clean, comfortable room with all the facilities we needed (tea/coffee facilities, a safe, hairdryer, a bathroom and a comfy... More

Great location between Paddington Station and Hyde Park, just around the corner from some lovely restaurants. A little shabby but clean and comfortable with helpful staff. I was on the top, fourth, floor, with no lift. Staff carried my bag up, but it was a bit of a grind.

The hotel is only few blocks from Paddington station, which has direct train access and link to airports. Also, it has many tube stations and also hop-on and off tour bus stops...So location is prime. They also provide free breakfast (pretty much regular sliced bread, some cereal, little bit of fruit and some packaged croissants with tea and coffee so... More

I would like to say just returned from my stay at this friendly and lovely hotel. For what we paid just under £100 pounds for where it is located was excellent. Rooms were basic but there was all you needed. Breakfast was nice.I would like to say the staff were fantastic, at breakfast we were greeted with a nice smile and... More

Room was quite small, bathroom was ok but was very small. Room had a fridge, tv and heating that all worked and was cleaned daily. Breakfast was basic continental. No lift so lots of stairs but that's typical of London hotels. Good location to Bayswater, Notting Hill and Paddington. No wi-fi in room!

I chose this hotel mainly because of location. It is in Paddington, obviously. 300 mts from Hyde Park, probably my favourite place in London. It is a typical victorian house, but a little bit careless. The mattress in the room was very soft, and WiFi was very poor, unless you walk down to the lobby. Breakfast was regular. Near Tube... Stayed from Feb 4 through the 10th. Entrance and stairwell a little worn. Room just basic 1 bed and en suite. Got a bad hip and ended up on the third floor (US 4th floor), but by the end of the trip, I think I was in better shape. Mr Singh at reception was extremely nice and helpful. No room... More
