This was a good budget hotel in London - the rooms were spacious but dated, the bathrooms were small but clean. There is no lift so be prepared to walk up and down stairs. Although it only advertises free wifi in the hotel lobby, we were able to access the wifi in our room on the 3rd floor. The reception... More

A budget hotel in a great location, 5 minutes from paddington station. Rooms where pretty good bad on the bad side it was the lack of elevator and that there wasn't wifi in the rooms! Also it was a bit expensive for what you get but a good price for London!

My husband and I stayed in room 207. The location is great. Two blocks to the Lancaster Gate Underground station, and about a 5 minute walk to Paddington Station. The employees were helpful (directions, etc) and friendly and the continental breakfast is just what you would expect. The hotel is shabby. Our room was very small with a bathroom barely larger... Our room Was in another building, really old and ruined, dirty and with a lot of dust everywhere..... And even no wifi connection, the only good point is the price, but it is at the same level Of 1-2 star hotel

I gave this place 4 stars because it was the only hotel I have been to where the rooms were bigger than the photos in the advert. It was clean, plenty of space and very close to the Lancaster Gate tube on the central line. Another good thing about this place was the Swan Pub, a right turn onto the... More

We found the location fantastic - Buckingham Palace, Science Museum, Hyde Park, Soho - all within walking distance. The room was basic, but what we expected given the price. Nonetheless, it was clean and comfortable. The staff we're very friendly - we hope the evening receptionist get's a chance to see The Book of Mormon, we do definitely recommend it!

Given the location, which we chose, this is about right for the price. The exception to the expectation was the staff. They were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Remarkably so. They seemed to be in my head when it came to my next request. Not a spotless place, but in keeping with similar hotels at this price in this location.

I booked this hotel through Booking .com for my daughter as she needed to be in the area on business . We booked late and the price appeared to have been reduced from around £140 to £ 44. I guess we should have realised, but we thought we had a bit of a bargain given the lateness of the booking... More

Friendly staff. Receptionist took one look at us (mid 60's) and advised us that we might want to switch to the second floor (really the third) although room slightly smaller. We did and was very glad we didn't have to navigate the stairs any higher. Think long and hard about whether you really want the small twin room as this... More

We booked the Paddington Hotel for a low cost overnight stay following a visit to the Theatre. We caught the train to London Paddington and walked the short distance to the hotel. Their own website describes the Paddington as a Budget Hotel and that is what you get for your money, a small but clean and comfortable room at a... More
