This hotel is located close to Kings Cross station. The reception area is pleasant with comfortable seats. Unfortunately this was not reflected in the room which was small and had no seats except for a small stool. The room looked in need of some fresh paint and the amount of storage for belongings was minimal. Our room was at the... More

My friend and I stayed at this Hotel while on a recent trip to London. We have stayed in another 3 Hotels in that area in previous years, however we both felt the Arriva Hotel was by far the best value for money. We received a very warm welcome from the staff on Reception and they were exceptionally friendly and... More

An honest review if you are expexting the Hilton it is not but what it is, is a freindly hotel really accommodating the bathroom and beds were clean and had all the facilities you needed for a short stay a bargin if you ask me for a stay in central London close to station Camden somewhere to lay your head... I've stayed at Arriva hotel with a friend the last weekend and I expected much more from the photos I'd seen on internet. It's very good for the position, awful for the cleanliness and the dimensions of the rooms. The worst thing was the bathroom: wc was dirt, basin too small and the shower didn't work well (it was impossible... More

This is a disgrace. I expect budget accommodation for a fair price but I do not expect a carpet that smells, and I mean one that you can smell standing up - not sniffing the floor! Pubic hair in every corner of the bathroom and in the shower. Mould and crumbling skirting boards. And for a small room, a sizeable... More

Stayed here last week and was surprised with how nice it actually was, the rooms were clean and the beds were very comfy! I had a double room which was a comfortable size but the bathroom was a bit tight. My sisters stayed in a quadruple room which was very roomy! I was very happy with the rooms, only thing... More

Good location - 7 min walk from Kings Cross St. Pancras. Clean rooms if a bit warm. A bit worn and basic but friendly service and space to keep luggage for early arrivals and check outs. I would stay again.

Stayed here last week for one night with friends. I was really impressed, the location is great, just a few minutes walk away from Kings Cross, the room was clean, tidy and very quiet, although we were at the back of the hotel. This is obviously a budget hotel, but was great value for money, would happily stay here again!

This is a very good location for Kings Cross station, it is about 5 mins flat drag walk with suitcases to the hotel, with plenty of dropped kerbs etc. It is on a busy road, but there is secondary glazing in rooms which help, although on a hot day it could impact if window needed to be kept open. The... More

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighborhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
