I stayed here with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. Yes the room is small but our room was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and you cannot fault the location. Obviously if you chose to stay central you are going to have noise albeit I had a back room and was fine. I would stay again and favour this... More

I booked into the hotel for one night on 30 Nov. The room was small but clean (apart from the sink which was blocked). I was in room 302. When I returned to the room at night to go to bed there was a very loud mechanical sound for ten secs every minute directly outside my room. I put up... More

Needed to catch an early Sunday Morning Eurostar from St Pancras and it was difficult to find a room anywhere near the station. I was a bit apprehensive given some of the reviews but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. Okay the room and ensuite are small but my room was clean and the bed comfortable. Its a bit... More

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed , we had to climb three sets of stairs with all our luggage ,for us it was grubby, the shower and toilet was a converted cupboard so you can imagine the size of it and to make matters worse they are trying to charge us twice. Just dont go there Demmis... More

We selected this hotel for its location and value. We were in London as tourist. It delivered on both points with some extras as well. We were a few steps from the King's Cross train and tube station and there were many places to eat in the near vicinity. It is also a short walk from the British Museum. The... More

- The single room is tiny and no space after I put my backpack on the floor. - I found hair on the bed. - Dusty and wet carpet. - Dirty window frames. - The shower has gone out of water when I was half way showering! I have to use the tap for my shower. Only cold water from... More

It was our 1st visit to London and we booked a triple room at this property because of its location opposite the King's Cross station. It was really good to be near the Underground station as we can go anywhere in London from there. However the neighbourhood seems a little quiet and did not have too much shopping/sights which is... Honestly guys....this place is more like a hostel than a hotel. The rooms are basic to say the least, ok.... i wasnt expecting the Ritz...however it was impossible to sleep with the sound of ladies of the night on the prowl for business shouting and bawling on the roadside. My room was slightly below ground level complete with a window... More

We stayed here 3 nights on our recent UK trip, renting 2 rooms for our family. Rooms were very clean and windows were helpful (luckily we arrived right after the heat wave). No A/C but lovely breeze. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was OK, not great. But the location is perfect right across from St Pancras/King's Cross but on a... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
