Unfortunately, the Quaker International Centre closed its doors on 31st May 2004. For all of the guests, staff and volunteers who had worked there over the last 20 years it was a very sad day. It was a homely place to stay and there is nothing else in London that could compare. Where else could you stay that didn't have... more

Impossible to rate this on usual hotel criteria, but it is a wonderful place to stay if you don't like impersonal hotels. Perfectly located if you want, for example, British Library, British Museum or proximity to King's Cross or Euston. Somewhat shabby, no ensuite facilities, but a safe-feeling, friendly environment where you can get to meet some very nice, interesting... more
