Just a couple of minutes from the King's Cross St. Pancras Underground and Station, the area also has a great selection of restaurants and pubs. Also Laundrettes closeby. Location is pretty amazing. The staff kept the place really clean and the breakfast was full-on - sausages, bacon, eggs, cereal, toast etc etc. Had to hold back! While this B&B has... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 2 nights. Hotel is on excellent location, buses pass very frequently and with one tube you can reach most of the attractions. We had first floor room, room and bathroom were small but very clean. Good traditional English breakfast and WiFi works good. Staff very helpful and nice.

A basic B&B room was small but staff were helpful, food was good, would stay again, Argyle Square is just across the road from Kings Cross.I asked for a cab this was done for me, it turned up on time, a very smart Merc overall standard good.

I stayed here with my daughter for 2 nights. It is really near Kings Cross and so convenient for everywhere. The room and bathroom were a reasonable size for the cost of the accommodation. We were in the basement which was a bit dark. But was quiet. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

The location is situated an alley across King's Cross station, mere minutes of walking. There's a burger king and post office at the entrance of the alley. Honestly, the room was quite a let-down given it's 50quil per night with breakfast. The shared bathroom was in the corridor, with toilet and shower in different rooms. I almost felt that I... More

My second time staying at the Macdonald. Rooms are clean but on the smaller side. Hearty breakfast provided each day with friendly staff. It is 2 blocks south of the Kings Cross/St. Pancras train and tube station, so it has convenient access to a lot of places in London (although you will have to tube to all the major tourist... More

The hotel staff and breakfast staff were very pleasant. The hotel was very close to the train station and was convenient to walking to several tourist attractions. They served an English Breakfast every morning and it was excellent. Good place to stay for the money.

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
