I stayed at this small bed and breakfast for four nights and the overall experience was very positive. I was happy to find out that even if the bathroom and the toilets were shared, they were perfectly renovated and always clean. It's an old building and the climbing up the stairs was difficult for me, because there is no elevator,... More

I've stayed here twice and I recommend it!! Perfect location from Kings Cross. I've met the one owner and he is outstanding. Place is clean. Please keep in mind it is a budget hotel. You won't be getting fancy expensive decor and bedding. There is no elevator. The bathrooms are small. There is no A/C and in the summer it... More

This hotel is very conveniently located for St Pancras international station within easy walking distance. The room was perfectly adequate but the décor was tired but the shared bathroom facilities were basic. The climb to the third floor with baggage and no lift was a challenge for pensioners. The breakfast was surprisingly good for the price.

Small hotel and small rooms and in need of a refurbishment, however beds, towels, rooms and dining area were clean. The owner is gentle and is surrounded with very helpful staff . The hotel is very close to King's cross station. Good breakfast.

The location is directly at King's Cross but in a small side street so also very quiet. Opposite is a small park where I sat in the sun and had lunch with a friend. Also a very nice pub is hidden in the corner of the street. Rooms are clean and for London very reasonable priced given the good location.... More

Macdonald hotel is well situated near the underground, it is possible to get very quickly to absolute centre of London. Rooms are clean, very pleasant staff. In the reception is possible to let the luggage, the breakfast is included in price of the hotel. Generally, it is good english standard. Lukas + family

As long as you bear in mind this is a 'budget' 2 star hotel then you will not be disappointed. The hotel could not be in a better location for Kings Cross and St. Pancreas station, just across the road down a quiet street, a couple of minutes walk to the nearest tube station. It was ideal for us as... More

This is a simple hotel in a very good location for St Pancras and King's Cross. Fairly priced and teh staff are very friendly and helpful. They aslo have single rooms at very reasonable prices - hard to get in London.

Stayed just one night. 2 minutes from Kingscross Station. Overlooking a pleasant and quiet green/play area. I received a friendly welcome from the man on the reception. My single room was clean, comfortable and had a sink, tele and tea making facilities. The shared showers and toilets were close by and were fine. The building is in a good decorative... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
