It would easy to knock the rather tired interior and fittings at Dillons, to comment on the very sized double bedroom (with the bed pushed up against one wall just so it could be accommodated - a personal bete noire), to take mild offence at the fact that we were provided with a bath mat and just a single 'full'... Quite a rare thing to get a hotel room at a cheaper price than airbnb. £51 a night for a single room. I can't comment on what the rooms might be like for couples or families. The room I had was fine, the bed comfortable, tea and coffee and a decently-sized kettle. Good TV and wi-fi available. I knew the... More

Dillion's is a comfortable and convenient hotel, with really lovely staff. I stayed here for about nine nights. Everything ran smoothly, and the staff, Renata and Leticia, and the gentleman I assume is Mr Dillon were warm and welcoming, and always helpful. There is a little village just around the corner, with a laundrette and a few shops, and some... More

Weve just returned from staying here 2 Nights for NYE 2013 and I must say what a little gem! People saying that it's dated well that may be true but I like that kind of vintage style and our room was really toasty and very clean- as was the 2 communal showers and toilets! Upon arrival we were greeted by... More

Lovely suburb of London, with easy access to 2 metro stations plus a local bus. It was easy to find and walk to with luggage. Staff are very obliging and helpful. Continental breakfast was adequate and all we needed to start the day. Great area with a fruit shop, bakery, supermarket, Laundromat and great restaurants around the corner. Try the... More

My wife and I stayed for one night and are pleased that it was only one! Cursory welcome, the gentleman didn't not seem too interested. Room was fair but not unpleasant. The bathroom and shower was in a poor state of repair and not as clean as it should have been. The extractor fan, in the loo, may have been... More

Loved the place! quite :) warm, Cosy :) i also had a double bed! and a clean shower! a kettle and tea and coffee service! :) Breakfast was nice too :) and the lady was very welcoming. Just hated going up two flights of stairs, and the fact that at night theres no one at reception.

Stayed in Dillons hotel on numerous visits to London. The hotel is situated in the lovely Belsize park area, which has a very relaxed atmosphere, you dont feel like your in London. Travelled with family, and shared a family room. Rooms basic, but only use it as a base while doing the sights in London, since we last stayed the bathroom has been modernised, lovely... More

My daughter and I wanted to stay near friends in Hampstead and the rates for this small hotel were reasonable. The location and street were pleasant and the 'let yourself in' arrangement was odd but worked out OK. The hallways and stairs were tired and worn. The room was like walking into a boarding school and the bathroom was in... More

My teenage daughters and I wanted to stay at a reasonably priced hotel near our friends in Primrose Hill. Dillons is on a pretty, leafy street in northwest London, near lots of shops and restaurants and a short walk to the tube station. It's not fancy but it suited our needs and the price was very fair, especially compared with... More
