We had to cancel due to illness and eventual death of Mum,The hotel wouldnt offer a recompense despite a copy of the death certificate being sent. The hotel has a non-refundable policy. We booked through booking.com, who were excellent ..they offered a 15% goodwill gesture, which we accepted.Rather disgusted and bitter.

We recently stayed 3 nights in the Crestfield hotel in Kings Cross. We booked a small double which was in the basement. Positives: the wifi was excellent, the front desk is manned 24/7 and the staff are helpful and responsive. Breakfast is included and is basic but sufficient. Negatives: the room is tiny and ours had a view of a... More

We chose this hotel as it was walking distance from Euston Station. Room was adequate, comfy bed and all the usual things you get from a hotel these days (shower with toiletries, tv, hair dryer and tea/coffee facilities). A continental breakfast was provided (ham, boiled eggs, toast and cereals) and we did take advantage of this the first morning. However,... More

I stayed here with my family for 5 nights and they put us in a room on the 3rd floor. Fair warning though, there is no lift. They reserve the first floor rooms for guests who are only staying one night. The beds are too soft, there are no hangers and barely any space to store luggage. The street is... More

We stayed here for the 2 nights we were in London. We chose the hotel because it is a 5-10 minute walk to St Pancras train station and we had an early train the day we left. The location worked out great for us and was right near the Kings Cross tube stop to get into central London. Pros: Friendly... More

The hotel is very comfy (especially the beds) and clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was so and so because there wasn't a lot of variety to choose from. But good value for money. The only negative comment is that there isn't any lift. but the members of the staff, took the luggage down from our... More

With regret, I have to say that I am very disappointed with the way this hotel handles its affairs. I booked through booking.com opting for a room with a payment later option. As soon as the booking went through I received an sms on my mobile phone from my Bank that a deposit was charged under the name of Crestfield... More

My husband uses a wheelchair which can be tricky when visiting London. The crestfield staff were amazing. We were given a ground floor room, which had a wet room, a place to put the chair and help with the chair when entering and leaving the hotel. Anna really helped us. The room was lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable,... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
