Stayed here with my friend in a twin room. Room very compact but perfect for the night when you just want to crash. Both beds had room underneath for a large case (although we did both manage to bash our toe on the corner!) Again a compact shower room but all very clean and warm. Continental breakfast served in the... More

It was average. I've stayed in better but I've stayed in much worse. Breakfast was adequate too. The staff at breakfast were pretty rude but not exactly a ruiner of the situation. What was was the person that kept slamming doors and knocking on my bedroom door all night but that isn't the hotels fault. I stayed in the single... More

--- The breakfast is served very early in the morning (until 9:30) so we end up not eating breakfast at the hotel. It is an old building so we could hear the other guests on the room next to ours; we could as well hear everyone that was going up/down the stairs. No elevator and very narrow stairs. The toilet... Hotel has no lifts. We were allocated a VERY small room. Double bed, but not enough room to open up 1 suitcase, let alone 2. The bathroom was minute!!! Literally could not swing a cat in it... not that I had a cat with me.... but you know :-) on the plus side - breakfast was basic but included, and... More

It has an excellent location especially if travelling by train from Luton Airport. Underground is also just a couple of metres away. Room was a bit small for the price paid but was clean. Had free wi-fi in the room. Breakfast was very poor considering that we had a 4 year old child with us but on the whole it... More

This is an outstanding budget hotel. One of the best I have stayed at in London. The rooms have been refurbished. Everything works well and is clean. The rooms are small but not cramped. Front desk service is excellent. The location, near Kings Cross, is excellent. Lots of good restaurants and pubs nearby. I'll be back.

We stayed here for 3 days whilst in London. We used to live in London and know that the excellent location of the hotel was a big positive - it's opposite Kings Cross station which means you are on most of the major tube lines. It also has cross country train access and St Pancras International (for the Eurostar to... More

I had two nights here. My single room was very small but clean and comfortable. En suite O.K. Continental style buffet breakfast was quite acceptable, and included a small selection of cold meats and eggs. The manager and all the staff were friendly and helpful re: directions etc. Virtually across the road from St. Pancras and Kings Cross stations. Easy... More

We have stayed in this hotel several times and always find it excellent value. It is directly opposite Kings Cross station. The rooms are small and basic but you are paying half the price of some places that are not much better. It is very clean and the continental breakfast is generous and the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms vary and... Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
