If you are just using this hotel as a base, then it is ok. I use it because it is the nearest hotel to where my son lives, so it serves a purpose and is much cheaper than the Premier Inn which is very near to it. It is very basic, but the bedding is clean and fresh and the... More

You know what you are getting when staying in a no frills hotel. Rooms were clean we got given a family room even though we had booked a double so lots of room. No queue at check in so speedy. Were surprised when looking out of the window in the morning that we had a fantastic view of the Thames... More

Considering I paid £15 per night for staying on a Sat and Sun, this was super value and therefore deserves its 5 stars from me. The hotel is a typical Travelodge - spartan rooms and small basic lobby. They had automatic check-in terminals which was convenient as there was a small queue at the check-in desk. There was no noise... More

We got a room only deal here for £25 which is remarkable for anything these days and this bargain rate attracted us away from our usual hotel choices around Chiswick. Of course, you usually get what you pay for and this is definitely a budget offer. Travelodge have pared there accommodation down to the lowest acceptable level and the rooms... More

The best option for short budget of students and researchers going to work at Kew Gardens.

I, as you are doing, checked the reviews for this one before going. I was a little worried but as my expectations are not as high as a lot of peoples, I must admit we were pleasantly surprised. Yeah ok its not the Ritz but then we weren't expecting it with the price I paid. Where else can you stay... More

Definitely one small step up from a youth hostel. Rooms are a bit shabby and poorly furnished. Lifts didn't work properly, noisy in the night, but it is cheap. Bed is quite comfortable though. All in all could be alot nicer, but it was a room for the night.

We last stayed in this hotel a year ago, using it as a base to get into London for a weekend of sightseeing. The hotel was a little disappointing, poor cleanliness and frankly a bit depressing. What a difference a year makes - don't know if there has been a change of management but it was a much friendlier, more... More

The room and bathroom were very clean. There was a problem throughout the 2 days of my stay that the ventilation in the bathroom was not working - i.e. you always had to open a window. The main reason for 3 star rating is that the mattress was very soft and saggy. The fried breakfast had a limited choice, but... More

at Kew Bridge travelodge. I was looking for somewhere cheap to stay overnight, near to Kew Gardens, and wasn't expecting much, to be honest. I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff extremely friendly. I loved that I was able to take my meal up to my room to eat, as I was staying... More
