This trip I decided to stay in B&B's as all the hotels in the area were very expensive for the time of the year, so this was a slightly cheeper option. I was very happy with the location as i needed to be near Kings Cross station, and it was only a 8min walk away. The area felt very nice... More

I stayed 3 nights here in the smallest single room I've ever seen outside of a meditation cell. It made me think of zero's room from 'The Grand Budapest Hotel', but rather more freshened up. As I had a small carry on bag I didn't mind, but any more gear than that would be problematic. You will have understood by... More

Stay here around 4 times a year with work. Always makes for entertaining stories. Generally over the last 2yrs the service has improved but still leaves something to desired. Out of around 10-15 of us it is quite reliable at least one person has a room that hasn't been cleaned or already has another guest in. On this visit I... More

Clean, reasonable breakfast and ultimately you get what you pay for. For all the rooms that share toilets and showers, there were 2 showers with a toilet, and 1 other toilet. None on the same floor as the room I had on the first floor! A short walk from Euston station and some lively areas around with a range of... More

The George was the perfect place for me to stay in London by myself for a few days as I met up with my daughter after her studies abroad. Having dropped loads of dollars on my daughter's educational experiences, the value offered at the George was most welcome. My single ensuite room was tiny but comfortable, with a lovely view... We used to come here often on vacation (twice a year) as this hotel had sentimental values for us, BUT our previous stay was so DISAPPOINTING that we have to look for another place next time. This time we traveled for business and the fact that breakfast was only from 8am made it very difficult. We arrived 7:45 to the... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
