I was very happy with the cost/value but just don't expect too much. Clean - which is the key thing - but yes I could touch both walls of my room at once with my hands! The en-suite top floor room I had was far nicer than the non en-suite lower floor room as the top ones had recently been... More

An excellent choice for a short break to London. Only a few minutes walk from Kings Cross & Russell Square Underground Stations. Very clean rooms with comfortable beds. Excellent service & delicious full English breakfast. Highly recommended☆☆☆☆☆

I stayed one night, during a business trip to London. I had indicated I would be arriving late and the staff were ready for my arrival. All the team were friendly and helpful. Breaskfast proved great value and just the right amount.

I have visited this hotel for a few years now and the standard is always high for staff, cleanliness. This visit was a little unfortunate as there was a problem with the bathroom for single non-ensuite, but was offered an upgrade immediately but since it was only one more night of my 4 night visit, I decided to stay where... Stayed here with mum & sister for a girlie 2 night break in London. Had a triple room which was on ground level with private bathroom. Room looked quite recently renovated which was modern, comfortable and clean. Only negative as 3 girls getting ready there was no mirror outside of the bathroom which sounds trivial but the room would definately... More

I've stayed at the George at least four times and I must say I've never been disappointed. The first time I stayed in one of the doubles (for single use) facing the gardens across the street and it was fine. They have since remodeled those rooms so I can only imagine that are even better now. Another time I stayed... More

One of less expensive options I found in this area. Well located near UCL. clean room. The room is not so small as usual for such kind of hotels in London. WiFi of acceptable quality is available in the rooms.

stayed in a cupboard meant to be a double room with a shower in dire need of replacing. Avoid room15! Son stayed some months ago and had a thoroghly updated room with tropical rain shower! So do ask what the standards will be. Unfriendly lwelcome but this communication style improved and beware that if you leave bags they are left... More

Stayed here for one night as we had to catch a train to Scotland in the morning and it is Close to Euston station and another station which I can't remember now. This hotel is situated around the corner from some pubs and a restaurant strip which is handy. Also a laundromat is around the corner if you need to... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
