Pros - the location of this property is great, easy walk to two underground stations and two train stations. The bed was comfortable and the linen was more than acceptable. If you book on line, breakfast is not included and costs 5UKPounds per person. If you book directly with them, breakfast is included. The mattress was good and there was... More

As other reviewers have commented, hotel is currently undergoing renovation, which it generally needs in that the structure and decor are somewhat outdated. However, our double ensuite room was acceptable for the price, which included a decent full English breakfast. Please note that the bathroom was a very tight modular unit designed to add a bathroom to one of the... More

This is the second time I've stayed at The George. Hotel was going through a renovation phase and there were materials all over the stairs. Got a nice room on the first floor, double ensuite, where everything was nice and worked as it should. And got help to move my bags to the room. Breakfast is OK and the staff... More

I stayed there last week as it was near Kings Cross and convenient to my plans the next day. I was also conscious of the firm travel budget and felt this was going to be suitable. Sadly, I was wrong. Yes it's near Kings Cross but that's all. The hotel is ok from the outside but exceptionally tired and old... More

I have stayed here before and found it just right for a few nights in London if you are not looking for any luxury of any sort. But this time I am very disappointed. I wasn't expecting very much but I really think the standards have fallen. Granted, it is in the middle of renovation so there is building going... More

London is expensive, George Hotel is not. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room is pretty small, but clean enough. Cartwright Gardens, which is a very nice spot in itself, is at 8 minutes walking distance from St Pancras & King's Cross stations. Buses like 10 or 188 drives you to every important touristic place. The full English... More

We recently spent the weekend at the George Hotel, family of four with two adults and two daughters (11 and 4), staying in a triple room, with a double and a single bed. First off, the neighborhood: It's really nicely situated between Kings Cross, Euston, and Russell Square tube stations. If you are arriving by tube, try to aim for... More

Staff were all middle European with English as a second language. Breakfast - small dining room, a queue for a table, but good food even if monotonous. Ground floor bedroom had been updated to ensuite - a glass shower installed in the corner! Shared a toilet down the hall with ?many other guests. Free internet in reception which was handy.... More

Everyone was very accommodating and I felt welcome. The English Breakfast was amazing. I wasn't hungry until well after the mid-afternoon! The location is perfect for getting transport and the neighborhood felt very safe. Cheers
