This is a low cost hotel with breakfast. Its not a luxury hotel. Some rooms have a shower only , some have both shower and toilet, just watch what you book. The hotel rooms are very small, but clean. The area around the hotel is as safe as any large city gets, is close to Euston Station ( 12 mins... More

It happened that I had to stay in London with my family for a few days in July. I had experienced Garth Hotel in the past. Now it is even more crowded that it was. The backyard in non-accessible (they created a room -I guess- in the hallway). The staff is not really adequate to serve (for example during breakfast... More

If you're paying almost $200 a night for a hotel room, you expect a certain level of cleanliness, comfort, and security. Walking in the front door, I was overpowered by a strong chemical smell that made me think at one point there was perhaps a fire? Or something unseemly that had to be cleaned thoroughly with bleach? The walls are... More

What a shocking place this was. It's like a throw back to the 1970's. The room we had as a 'twin' was narrow, tiny and unbearably hot. Had to wedge the window open with a can as the sash mechanism was broken. Only one power point, no where near a mirror so ladies don't even think about drying your hair!... More

My adult son and I were visiting friends in North Yorkshire from the US, and on our way to Paris were going to have an opportunity (rather last minute) to spend one night in London (June 25th). We began looking for a room around the end of May and finding something even remotely affordable in such a short time was... More

I don't normally review rooms but i almost didn't stay at this hotel because of all the negative reviews. In my opinion, whether or not you should stay at this room is dependent on your expectations and what you consider a necessity. I had a few priorities for my hotel room in the following order: 1. Price 2. Location 3.... More

I stayed here for 1 night on business and can honesly say I will NEVER ever go near this place again. The room was disgusting, shared facilities were beyond dirty and my bedroom door would not shut or lock. My room was £90 and I can honestly say I would not stay here again if it was free.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Don’t spoil your stay in London. I felt sorry for the staf... We stayed as less as possible at the hotel and didn’t used the including breakfast in the basement. How is it possible that places like this can stay opened, is there no control at all?

Box room with a shower plonked in with the rest of the squashed in furniture. Hot and stuffy and could not turn off the radiator. Had to jar the window open as wouldn't stay open, dirty curtains. Loud guests could be heard regularly in the early hours, some of whom opened our bedroom door in the middle of the night... More
