The ensuite single room I stayed was small but nice and clean. Very close to the places I had to be. Breakfast was very good and staff were friendly. Not a luxurious hotel but it was a good value for money.

Was slightly nervous about staying here after reading the reviews previously given (booked before reading). Had booked a single with shower, but when I arrived I was offered a free upgrade as they were quiet. So instead I had a triple room with en-suite. The décor is very tired and needs a good freshen up. It looks a little uncared... More

Very Good Location, regular hotel. The most important thing about the hotel is the good location. The breakfast was OK, english one but always the same for 7 days ! Anyway the worst thing in the hotel was the bathroom. A very very very small bathroom. For turn around I had to go out of the toilette and enter again... More

You get what you pay for. The hotel was very old but still had some charm. Its about 5 min walk to th brittish museum and just behind oxford street. I stayed there with my friend for 2 nights, Staff was very friendly. I had no problem sharing the toilet since, it felt more like being in a house :)

I wish I read the reviews before booking this room. I'm here right now in a single room. it's impossible to sleep. The mattress is unlike any I've ever experienced before... I can't describe how bad it is. Everything is tatty. Towels with holes in them. Of the shared Loo's, only one has a sink to wash your hands. Surfaces... More

After reading lots of reviews wasn't expecting much but actually think some reviews are a little unkind. This place is very run down and old which makes it look unclean but actually think it's just well overdue a lick of paint. We paid £99 for one night considering location and breakfast included was a fair price to pay. If using... More

We booked this Hotel through their own website and then had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. It was a faff and though in plenty of time trying to cancel online as instructed by hotel email was impossible. But - credit where credits due on telephoning and speaking to "Jaya Imm" ?? at reception all was cancelled and confirmed promptly... More

hotel in Gower street London, one would have thought would have been ideal as according to write up. But how wrong can one be. When we got there the receptionist said we could have ground floor level or top level. So we went for top level but were told that we had a shower but shared toilet. It seemed that all... More

As a solo female traveller I felt very insecure in this hotel. The staff were unhelpful; I was given four keys to my room one being for the deadlock to ensure the room actually locked!, but still the door didn't lock; there were dubious males loitering in the corridor and the room was disgustingly dirty. I had to move elsewhere... More

Everything was a bit tired and dated, carpets furniture etc, but it was clean, and everything worked. Staff very friendly Breakfast ok Cheap !! Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
