We were only there for 1 night and spent very little time in the room except whilst asleep! The room my mum & I shared was on the top floor so I was relieved I didn't have much luggage as there's no lift. Our room was actually quite spacious and whilst the decor was a little dated, it was clean.... More

Not at all luxurious but very well located for the money. Clean and quiet enough. My room had three beds in it so not much room otherwise but the en suite bathroom was fine and so was the television. Other people have said the staff were unpleasant but I did not find this. Pleasant and polite.

I was assigned this hotel via Name Your Own Price option on priceline/ agoda. I arrive toi the hotel after a LONG flight from the USA--open the door---and There was NO elevator !! .... After an EXHAUSTING hike up the STEEP stairs to the desk--- I find out that my reservation has been LOST even though I had my reciepts... More

Location is the only thing good about this hotel. Breakfast is very poor and apart from a ltd choice of cereal only 2 slices of bread and cold croissant are served immediately you sit down which by the time you eat your cereal will become cold and tasteless. Hotel lacks lift and when you make your way to the reception... More

We visited the hotel before christmas. The location was amazing and so close to ox street only 1 min walk. Still second night the fire alarm started to ring, some of customers fainted... We rushed to a doctor and no one came to see if we were alive, we called reception three times and they said we r coming...they never... More

I stayed there last September. Although the rooms are small and the stairs are too narrow, the staff is really helpful and hospitable. The cafe serves the breakfast. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The hotel is located very well close to the subway. The rooms are small but you can use the fire stairs as a balcony. It reflects... More

It may have a good location but the staff are rude and unhelpful. The décor is dated and very small. Overall a very bad experience from booking through to the stay. My advise is to stay ANYWHERE but here!!!

It's a quite small hotel, all the rooms are more or less different, but it's clean, comfortable beds, central (Close to Debenhams and New Bond street, just behind Oxford Street) The breakfast is in a Pizza restaurant, that also makes very good pizza!

I was shoopping in London with my Daughter and found the room really good value for money. Close to Oxford Street, Friendly reception, Clean and comfortable rooms. Steep stairs so not good for disabled people.

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
