Needed a room to fit 7 in and found this little gem. Perfect if all you're doing is sleeping in the room. Beds comfortable and it was clean enough. Large room ideal for big group although only 1 toilet. 10 min to Leicester Square 1 min to Oxford st. Great shower, didn't make it to breakfast so can't comment but... More

The budgets such as Travelodge and premier’s overnight prices started at £170.00 for room only, so the office found this place for £130.00. Had I known what was waiting, I’d have paid the extra £40.00 myself for one of the others. First was finding the reception, which was a small wall mounted sign next to the restaurant and a pokey... This hotel has no charm at all. Its just a door way off the street from which you are presented with a stairway to a grubby reception area/office. My room was in a different building it turned out. On the first landing there were two random single beds in storage. In my room was a grubby miss matched bathroom with... More

Short and sweet.... No lift, no free wi-if, no toiletries, no full breakfast. Needs overhauling urgently. Staff only interested in getting your money. Overpriced for what's on offer. I would NOT recommend this establishment to any age. Will not be going back.... until I hear they have listened to the negatives as well as the positives from customers. Message to... More

All was ok just not having a lift if you have problem on stairs, it was clean and had all one needed. Brill for get anywhere around the city centre and a good price .It would be perfect for a group of young people touring around London and the breakfast is not hot but enough to do. I would go... Good and clean room, was more like an appartment for 5 people including a kitchen. No elevator but stairs. Good breakfast but not much special. The location was perfect! Close to Bondstreet subway. Breakfast is served in a pizzaria which is located in the same street.

Okay, so the set up is kinda weird, three rooms in three different buildings but all on the same street. Each of the rooms was small but the beds were clean & comfortable (and yes, our double was two singles pushed together but that was fine for us) and the bathrooms looked new. No view in our room but we... More

'Double' bed was 2 singles pushed together, bed was hard. Room very old and dated. Breakfast was poor. Staff attitude poor. No elevator. paper thin walls. Room 15- awful location!!!! Right next to the reception so could hear people talking all day and night.

I stayed here for two nights and it was a dreadful experience. It is basic and the staff, both in the hotel and breakfast area, lack any customer service skills and the entire experience from room to meal is basic. So much so I did not bother with breakfast the second day. However, the worst is the incredible noise from... More

Great location, comfortable beds and pillows, hot water, great water pressure in shower. Hair dryer supplied in room was powerful, not one of those breezy types that take forever to dry long hair. Purchased WiFi for 24 hours and it worked fine. Got a great rate on Priceline.com. There was nothing else in the area for this affordable price. The... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
