I booked this hotel for one week and after reading some of the reviews I started to regret it, but in the end we decided to go and give it a try. To be honest it is much better that what I expected. Location is amazing in the heart of London less than a minuite and you'll be on oxford... More

I've been here more than once with my family in different seasons. I love this hotel, it is in the best position you can ask for, in the heart of the city, in the middle of Oxford Street crossing New Bond Street but without the typical central-zones noise. The breakfast is good and it takes place at the restaurant below.... More

We stayed here two persons for two nights and everything was as we expected. The rooms were extremely cheap compared with other hotels available so it was a bargain for us. We got what we came for, location, location and location. Twenty steps and you are on Oxford Street. We had a small room three flights up, the stairs are... More

I was looking for very central, clean, friendly, cheap (for London), and I got all of it. This place is a little gem. Compact but spotless room in the middle of the middle of Central London. Set on top of a very nice pizza parlour where our evening meal was great and where the free breakfast was also good, I... More

The only good thing about this hotel was it's location- close to shopping district. Everything else about this place was terrible! Upon entering our room, it smelled like an ashtray of cigarette smoke- we called the front desk to have him verify this so we wouldn't later be charged, and he never showed up. We moved the bed over only... More

I stayed here on business recently and the location was perfert. I was concerned at some reviews and the price compared to other hotels nearby. I checked in and was directed to a building across the street and found a surprisingly larger room for London standards. The room was very clean, comfortable bed and the bathroom was fine. The Wi-Fi... More

The location is great, very central, close to shopping district and tube. Rooms were quite clean. Very basic. We had our grandparents and children who had heavy luggage and had to lunge them up 3 floors. Can be noisy at night outside. Wi-Fi is not free. Which was surprising.

Was perfect enjoyed it a lot! Will be staying again. When I first arrived I was sceptical after reading some reviews but I can honestly say everything was perfect, everything was how I would expect a hotel room to be. Fresh bed sheets and air freshners.

We booked this hotel as we needed easy access to Euston and Wembley Stadium. It is very basic but clean and not a bad price for the centre of London, exactly what you want for a one night stopover. We arrived at the hotel about 11 am and the man on reception was very friendly and let us check in... More

Having read all the negative views after I booked I was worried and was close to cancelling but thought I would just give it a go and I'm glad I did. Yes you have to go up a flight of stairs to get to reception (i go up a flight of stairs to go to bed at home), and yes... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
