My friend and I stayed here for one night and... well, you're probably getting the picture from the other reviews here. I only have two points to add. The first was the abrupt phone call that we got half an hour before checkout, where a voice simply shouted "You check out now!" and hung up, but the "highlight" for us... more

The hotel is a bit run down but it was quiet enough and clean enough for a short stay. If you care about good service then this probably isn't the place for you. The main down side was there was only one decent bathroom for two floors. The room was ok, again just for a short stay. The location was... more

This hotel or should i say hostel is nothing more than a dump. The hotel was built during the edwardian period so from the outside looks great but on the inside it looks like the decorators have not been back since. When we arrived we left our cases at the hotel because we could not check in till 2.00pm so... more

I'll generally stay in a bin if its cheap and well located but the Wellington was so bad I wont be back. It was dead cheap and very close to Victoria station but I wouldn't stay there again for free. Staff were the most unfriendly i've ever seen in a hotel couldn't have helped less, desk guy told me he... more

I actually live a 10 minute walk away from the Wellington in Pimlico but when my brother stopped over in London on his way back to France, he preferred staying in a hotel rather than with me (he'd just got off a very long flight and wanted to have somewhere private and quiet to rest). So I booked him a... more

great location, close to victoria station and its relatively cheap. Those are the only good points about this hotel. From the outside it looks smart and kinda posh. However, dont let this fool you! the staff were very unfriendly esp the woman on the front desk who barely grunted at us when we checked in. Also we were quite shocked... more

We stayed here for 3 nights. We arrived late at night, and the front desk was very helpful. We had to walk up a few flights to our room, but we were very happy with the room. We basically got two bedrooms, with an open doorway in between, two separate beds, a television, a large closet that you could lock... more

I knew the hotel only has standard rooms, so that is what we got. Very old hotel with long corridors and small rooms, with a very old fashioned decoration but reasonably clean. The people at reception and in the breakfast room were just correct but not very friendly. I only payed £ 46 for 1 night for the twin room,... more
