My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. In great location. It is altogether a little cramped, tiny reception / foyer, tiny bar and seating area (with result that quite often no-one there to attend) Staff are quite willing but suffer from lack of communication skills and as a result, like so many other London hotels there is little... Stayed for two nights. Booked a twin room, which was on the third floor (no lift) Was a little cramped for two, but adequate for our stay. There was a tablet in the room to control lights and air con which we used to look up a map of where we were staying - only to find someone had set... More

Thanks so much for your review. The hotel has recently been refurbished and the final stage will be the installation of a lift. We do not advertise a lift at the moment and the team are really happy to take your bags to your room. We've noted your additional comments. More

This is the first time I have stayed here and I am coming back on 17th May. Excellent staff at reception with efficient checkin and checkout. Extra information for sightseeing was most helpful and a map provided. As there were no lifts the very helpful staff took my luggage and were there to offer a hand when needed. My room... More

We've just returned from a three night (Friday to Monday) at the hotel and we thought it lovely. St Vincent's Square is beautiful and felt a million miles from the hustle of the city. Check in was fine and we were allowed to leave our bags while we went walking as the room wasn't ready. We had arrived at 12.... More

I booked the Grange Wellington hotel for a weekend theatre break. The hotel is in a lovely tranquil location in Vincent Square. The hotel is in the ideal location for London Victoria tube station and main line station. The hotel is also within 10 minutes walking distance of Buckingham Palace. The hotel is beautifully equipped, the staff we encountered were... More

Stayed here on a one-night business trip. Great location, 10 minutes' walk from where I was based and Pimlico tube. Very clean and well appointed, with a very comfortable room and well equipped bathroom (with bath and outside window - rare these days). Although the hotel has a restaurant and bar I went out with a colleague and there's lots... More

On the plus side, my room was clean, tidy, well-equipped, comfortable and quiet, with no noise from neighbouring rooms or the corridor. And, you cannot fault the location. But, the check-in process was very lengthy due to too few staff on reception and I hate the iPad gimmickry - it doesn't work! I had a few issues during my stay... More

We needed a much earlier than normal check-in to get ready for a wedding. The staff obliged without any fuss whatsoever. The hotel is really beautifully appointed, breakfast was good and staff were wonderful. Thank you.

We stayed here for the New Year to welcome in 2015. The hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly. Our room was on the small side but the modern decor, gadgets and cleanliness more than made up for it. I would recommend this hotel if you wish to see the sights of London.

Overall nice hotel and in good location, only thing is there is no lift so be aware if you have lots of luggage or not as fit as some. Staff very pleasant and very willing to help. Breakfast nice with lots of selection. Near A lot of major attractions so good for pleasure as well as business.

Staying in Westminster

Neighborhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
