I was going to a gig in Tobacco Dock so this was literally a couple mins walk from the venue which suited us down to the ground. Area didn't exactly look too appealing but was fine to walk around in. Hotel is more like a converted house. Was homely and spotlessly clean. Staff were so nice and friendly. Rooms were... More

The room cost was £90 which was reasonable as it was close to the Tobacco Docks where I was attending an event. The room wasn't as small as I thought it would be by London standards and was clean. But it wasn't very modern and the toiletries/hairdryer were very basic. The downside was a bit of street noise and noise... More

for the price its ok but I would stay more than a night or 2. Its made to look like a boutique type hotel but it doesnt quite get there. the staff are nice and polite. its like a house conversion so the rooms arent that big. the bathroom is tiny, i had to squeeze in, close the door just... More

Stayed one night. Pleasant welcome, quick check in. Room quite small, but clean, Plenty of mirrors (Hurrah) Decent bathroom. Hairdryer was a fixed one and that was also in the bathroom - a nuisance when I was drying my hair and someone else waiting to use bathroom. Bed fine, sheets uncomfortable though. Pillows past their best. Room was really warm... More

I booked Dockside Hotel as I required a budget hotel in Tower Hamlets area for just 1 night - I simply did not want to pay the £170 pn at the recently constructed Holiday Inn. When I arrived I was met with friendly people who explained that my room might not be ready. It was 1.30 pm. On checking, they... More

We eventually found our hotel after almost completing a full circle from the station! On arrival we were made to feel very welcome. Clean, convenient for my husbands 50th year University reunion, it served a purpose. Breakfast was good with the exception of a leak in the ceiling, leading to a "puddle" on the floor. Be careful in room 10... More

The staff are really friendly and helpful. When I booked a hotel my main focus was cleanliness and this met my expectations. We had a really nice room and breakfast was good. We only encountered a few problems, main one being not enough wall sockets since we had a room for four and only had access to two sockets for... More

From check in to check out the service was outstanding. Hotel is clean, our room was on the small side but adequate for our one night stay. We got bus to Trafalgar Square and it took 20 mins which was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Loved how breakfast was complementary and room was warm, free soap, tea and coffee. Generally clean but there was dust in the bed head, stains underneath the toilet lid, some stains on the bathroom door, spider crawling down while I was eating breakfast which was unlucky, bed was uncomfy lumpy spring mattress and kids were playing outside all early evening... When I say "cozy" I'm not referring to small. I mean cozy in the - homely, welcoming, safe, sheltered, secure, down-home - sense of the word. A little off the beaten path, this hotel is in a residential area, close to public transportation to the center of London (though for those looking for a sense of security, stick to the... More
