The Dockside Hotel wasn't our normal choice of hotel, but I must say it was very comfortable and had everything we needed for an overnight stay, including roadside parking (Saturday & Sunday only). We were attending an event at Tobacco Dock, which was only a ten minute walk. The hotel is set back from any main roads, in a residential... More

After you get off the tube, the walk to the hotel (4mins) looks a little bit dodgy but it isnt really, staff very friendly and helpful, bed very comfy, room a little tired but not bad, over all for the price, this place is great! would definitely stay again

When we checked in for our 3 night stay and found.... 1. No elevator. We had to WALK up steep, narrow stairs to our room, lugging suitcases (after dragging them for two blocks...see below) 2. There was a flimsy, (less than) residential-quality doorknob with inadequate lock 3. No air conditioning (& although the window DID open.....it did so onto a... More

I booked this hotel on the basis of the good reviews it had and ignored the few negative reviews, which I certainly shouldn't have. My partner and I decided to book this hotel for a short two night stay in London attending a few booked events. The location was in between our two events and in general is fairly central... More

It's a stone's throw from the Shadwell DLR station. It's clean, modern and well situated. The young man on reception was warm and welcoming. The room- single and on the ground floor- was perfect for one night. The bed and mattress were above average for a budget hotel. A wonderful night's sleep. The area is residential, you are next to... This isn't an upmarket hotel, and I think to be honest the pictures on their website represent the hotel as it is, however I think its a really good hotel for the price you pay. if you stay at a major low budget chain not too far away from here you can pay double if not treble the price and... This was a lovely spot. I stayed here for 2 nights and it was clean and tidy and had everything I needed in a secure building with shower and toilet in my room. I would not hesitate to stay again as ot was close to everything I needed at the time. Thank you, well done.

Booked this hotel as I had a business meeting in the Stepney Green area. It was reasonably close and accessible from Shadwell DLR. The room was okay but the bed the most uncomfortable I've ever experienced and I can only liken it to sleeping on a stack of pallets. The room was not particularly clean with skirting boards being very... More

This is a couple of minutes from Shadwell Station on the DLR - so perfect if you are visiting Excel. The area is residential and not very touristy. there is a good Middle Eastern Restaurant (Efes) about 5 minutes walk away. The hotel is perfectly adequate. A good modern bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast is what you'd expect. Friendly and helpful... More

I have stayed there for couple of days and was very pleased. It is snall hotel with just couple of rooms, ours was rather small but very clean. However the bathroom was rather spacious. The hotel is nicely positioned, very close to DLR station. Free wifi is available thru all hotel with really decent speed. The breakfast is offered however... More
