This is a couple of minutes from Shadwell Station on the DLR - so perfect if you are visiting Excel. The area is residential and not very touristy. there is a good Middle Eastern Restaurant (Efes) about 5 minutes walk away. The hotel is perfectly adequate. A good modern bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast is what you'd expect. Friendly and helpful... More

I have stayed there for couple of days and was very pleased. It is snall hotel with just couple of rooms, ours was rather small but very clean. However the bathroom was rather spacious. The hotel is nicely positioned, very close to DLR station. Free wifi is available thru all hotel with really decent speed. The breakfast is offered however... More

Booked to stay here as planned to spend the whole day and evening in central London. So we both just wanted something simple with breakfast included. Good points: Room perfect size for us even though small Breakfast had a good selection of pastries, toast,Cereal and bacon Friendly welcoming staff Clean Heard no noise overnight only planes in the morning but not... Saw some of the reviews on here after booking and was a bit worried. I shouldn't have been as it was absolutley fine. The area is what it is, which is a bit run down but just a short walk away there are several Riverside pubs. Some of these serve food which was Ok and The Grapes?? (Sir Ian Mckellans... More

About 3 to 4 mins walk from Shadwell station, this is a small hotel. Booked it for 90£ a day with breakfast but found it expensive for what i got. Rooms were ok, not too small nor too big. Should be ok for a night or 2 to stay. Pros: close to station in zone 2, good breakfast and helpful... More

Not sure if this hotel is under new management as the reviews below do not match up to my experience of the place. Someone was in one of our rooms when we arrived and the management simply ousted the occupant - who had just a plastic bag as his 'luggage' - and showed us to the room. They didn't even... More

This is a small hotel in the Eastern part of London, a bit away from the centre but very close to the Docklands Light Railway. The family room worked fine for us (parents and two grown up children, 22 and 18). A bit cramped, but clean with a decent toilet and shower. Very helpful and friendly staff. Goos price!

I was going to a gig in Tobacco Dock so this was literally a couple mins walk from the venue which suited us down to the ground. Area didn't exactly look too appealing but was fine to walk around in. Hotel is more like a converted house. Was homely and spotlessly clean. Staff were so nice and friendly. Rooms were... More

The room cost was £90 which was reasonable as it was close to the Tobacco Docks where I was attending an event. The room wasn't as small as I thought it would be by London standards and was clean. But it wasn't very modern and the toiletries/hairdryer were very basic. The downside was a bit of street noise and noise... More
