We stayed at the Castleton hotel for 3 nights from 30th November. As we wanted a twin room near a tube station and only booking the night before we were stuck for choice and only wanted to pay up to approx £400. On arriving at the hotel we got room 202. No lift was available so it was quite a... More

Okay I know that 3 adults and 1 child in one room is a crowd. But at least you'd be put a room big enough for you especially when they know that there is four of you. In the US our room would be a safety hazard. No room to move around or for our luggage. And do not let... More

Many thanks ‘Mandy8888’ for taking the time to post a review of our hotel. As you rightly point out our hotel is superbly located next to Hyde Park and Oxford Street making it the ideal base for a stay in our city. I am sorry that you found your bedroom too small for you. As the hotel is formed of... More

The hotel was in Paddington, very accessible from Heathrow airport. The entire place was clean and cosy. The staff was also very friendly and willing to help wherever they can such as providing travel advice, printing services etc. However, the twin room was slightly small and the room service did not replace the toiletries.

Reception staff don't speak good english, but is available. Breakfast is poor and breakfast service too. Rooms are well cleaned. Position is excellent for visiting the town. --------------------------------

It is such a shame that this hotel decided to place a family room (1 double - 2 single beds) right next to the noisiest boiler known to mankind. The 1st night we were all woken constantly with what sounded like a jet engine from an aeroplane coming in to land in our room. It was so loud that, come... More

I tend to avoid Paddington as it feels a bit cheaper but this place was good and I liked the street it was on with its various pubs and restaurants. And also close to the station so you don't feel you are too far away from what's happening. The staff were very amiable throughout my stay and the breakfast was... More

I read some of the reviews before booking this hotel. I figured that it can't be that bad - these are probably all people that are used to super luxurious suites in the U.S. Well, my and my husband's first reaction to the room was a loud laugh. The room was so small that we could not even open up... More

We were very happy with this hotel. It was located conveniently a block from Paddington Station (where you can catch the Heathrow Express and the Tube), also right next to a hop-on hop-off bus stop. It was in a safe area, nice park next door with a large chessboard. We were walking distance to Hyde Park. The hotel staff were... More

I am conflicted in my review of this hotel. Stayed in room G03 for 3 nights in October, my first reaction was "what a super tiny room!". Tried to take some photos of the room, but had very little space to do so. However, I have to say that the room is very very clean, and the single bed, extra... More

My sister and I had requested a twin bed room. It was more like a twin bed cupboard with a little room between the beds. It was tiny but this is London so it wasn't too much of an issue. We were very concerned that the minuscule bathroom, similar to a ferry or a caravan emitted a dreadful odour. We... More

Thank you ‘denisefromgeelong’ for posting a review. I am sorry to read that you didn’t enjoy your stay with us. I have checked with the receptionists and as you rightly state you complained about a smell coming from you shower. The Housekeeper checked the room but could detect no smell. A thorough clean of the drains was carried out by... More
