I don't normally leave reviews but this hotel was awful! The room was a tiny box nothing like the pictures they must have given us the worst room, the bed was barely even a double bed, the floor was stained all over and the room was dirty, the bathroom was like the toilets you get on an airplane there was... Stayed 4 nights with my best friend and the experience was pleasant overall and met my expectations given the reasonable price we paid. Pros: - FANTASTIC location, literally a minute's walk from Paddington station which is one of the larger tube stations, so convenient and we were thankful for its close proximity. - Breakfast included, which to me was quite... The hotel is a one block walk from Paddington station. The rooms are certainly small and the walls a little thin, but this is London and the price of this place is very reasonable. For your money you get a clean room with a tiny but functional ensuite. Breakfast is basic but good, served by friendly staff. The people on... More

Overall, the experience is decent. Value for money. Lavatory may be too small for big size guests but otherwise it's okay. As the building is old, sounds from people walking on the stairs can be hear in the room.Breakfast is okay if you are not too particular about them. Location is good as it is near Paddington Railway and Underground.... More

Good location to Paddington Station. Rooms ok, basic, but what I expected for price. Clean. BEWARE....I MAY AS WELL HAVE BEEN SLEEPING IN THE STREET. The ground floor rooms 01 and 02 are right at street level on a very busy route to and from Paddington. I booked a double room on line via booking.com and this is what I... More

Me and my family of four was staying here for a few days, in the beginning of december. The hotel is based very central in London. We walked down to Hyde Park, Oxford Street and Notting Hill. The Paddington Station is also 300 m from the hotel, and you could go anywhere from there. The staff was in a bad... More

This hotel is in a good area and within sight of Paddington station. As a budget hotel for someone who needs access to the station it is fine. My room was comfortable and had space, even with double and a single bed. There was a kettle with tea and coffee. The bathroom was adequate and supplied with good quality toiletries and... More

if broken springs in mattresses, air conditioner not working, toilet seat broken, bacon and sausage finished at 08h15 and nothing to serve guests, unmoving and unconcerned "management" are only some of the issues faced by us during our recent visit to the castleton then take my word that this is NOT a place you wish to stay.......

London hotels will have small rooms, you cannot avoid that. If you want spacious rooms, be prepared to go 5-star. My room was a box, but it was clean, the wifi signal was strong, and the shower had hot water. It was functional, and very near the major transport areas (Paddington Station, Lancaster Tube, Edgware Road Tube/Bus). Breakfast was filling,... More

Hello jvchoong, Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for your kind review. We are glad to know that you have had a great time staying with us and you are absolutely right that the room size in London are smaller than hotel rooms in SE Asia. This is due to the high land cost and also Victorian... More
