I travel a lot and sometimes staff are rude...but this is the first time that the male receptionist was SO rude that I considered just walking out...but I thought they had already charged my card and it was very late in the evening so I had to stay. The receptionist acted more like an arrogant passport control person who felt... More

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. I also fundamentally disagree with those who say that because it's cheap, people should expect very little. I stay in London a lot and as I work for a charity, I always try and make sure I get a room as cheaply as possible. The last 2 places I have... More

Staff are exceptionally rude, literally take your money and then stop caring, and they don't even try to hide it. Rooms are disgustingly dirty, no toilets in the rooms, mould on the ceilings, freezing in the night, and junkies old needles can be seen on the roof from some rooms. I'd rather sleep rough than give these lowlifes a penny.

Maybe I'm being a little naive, but I had no idea that tatty little places existed in London. Check-in was fast and efficient. But when going down to the room, a feeling of dread covered me like a heavy shroud. Entering the room on re-in forced that feeling. Firstly, no toilet in the room. Which makes me wonder what horrors... More

Due to my work I have stayed in hundreds if not thousands of different hotels all around the Uk and Europe, and this was the worst by far. The room was beyond tiny, had a shower right at the end of the bed and no toilet. Toilets are not even close to the room. There was a loose electrical wire... More

I'm not sure I stayed at the same place as all these negative reviews.....sure it's basic and a little scruffy, but I found everything to be decently clean, quiet, and the staff friendly. They always remembered me from day one when I dropped off and picked up my room key. Breakfast was adequate if simple. Who cares if the veneer... More

I stayed in the hotel for 1 night (very lucky it wasn't longer) with my boyfriend. The room did not have 1 double bed as promised, instead featuring 2 beds that were a bit bigger than a single, separated by a weird nightstand. The room was underground and dark. Out of the 4 light bulbs on the ceiling, 3 were... More

I had never entered a hotel room and laughed uncontrollably until I came to Lancaster Court Hotel. No toilet. I'll say it again. No toilet!! There was a shower and a basin. If you need the toilet, you have to go downstairs or get creative in the shower. Every single floor board was creaky, the room was far too hot... More

I understand some comments. However, lets be realistic its not the ritz carlton or the four seasons hotel. We stayed 4 adults and 2 infants for 4 nights and spent £280. For that price in London usually you are lucky to have breakfast for so many people for 5 days. The room was not huge but big enough for all... More
