This is a good, fairly standard tourist hotel in the Paddington area. Convenience and cost are its selling points. It seems criminal not to have kettles in the rooms, but that may not bother other folks. The location near Paddington and Hyde Park is certainly convenient. Spent 9 days at this hotel during Xmas 2012 / New Year. PLUS: great location (100m from Paddington station / underground / shops, 100m from Hyde park), room temperature, bed, room cleanness.
