Great service. Friendly and helpful servers! We'd definitely stay there again. Super location. Discovered the grocery store across the street on our last day there. Wished we had found it sooner! The Tube is just across the street.

Very good value for money in a nice part of London, very close to Gloucester Road underground. Rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean, lift to all floors, continental breakfasts are varied and plentiful. Free in-room wifi and TV.

The "deluxe" twin was a shabby single with an extra bed! The whole ambience was of a "shabby down heel" hotel. The lift was so tiny !!! On arrival the reception staff were scrufferly dressed. The Indian restaurant which is the breakfast room was also very disappointing. The quality was very poor more like a bad take away. For £180... More

Very friendly staff, they even got a blanket for my guidedog! The room could need an upgrade. And the elevator was quite scary and small. Location is perfect, short way to everything-shopping/tube/park/restaurants/museum⭐️

I had made my reservation using Booking.com and had made some special requests. Although the hotel could not meet all of my requests, Chris, at reception was polite and helpful. He went above normal customer service. Much appreciated. The hotel is located a very short walk from Gloucester Road Station. I landed at Heathrow and the tube stop is on... More

booked through booking.com and very impressed, few minutes from tube and 5 minutes from the museums, despite being on busy road once inside totally unaware, breakfast was included and was continental, more than enough for us, the receptionist couldn't do enough printing off emails we needed and overheard booking via phone other attractions for other guests. only downside lift very... We had an amazing time. The hotel was clean, safe, and in an amazing location. We really enjoyed our visit. Would definitely stay with them again. They gave excellent recommendations and took the time to explain how to get places. It felt like a home away from home.

The hotel has a great location: is close to tube station and at same time, to Kensington Gardens. The staff was helpful, breakfast is simple but good and the price is reasonable. My room was small, but since I was alone and traveling for business purposes, that was okay. I'll certainly consider this place again if I return to London.

Found through booking.com, a very reasonable room rate for a decent central London hotel. Near Gloucester Road underground station and within easy walking distance of museums and the Royal Albert Hall. Our room was on the main road side so traffic noise was somewhat obtrusive (needs double glazing, ideally); but all the same we slept very well on the firm... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
