We stayed at this hotel for only one night but it would be a great Base for a longer stay. Rooms were small and basic. But when you look at the great location in central London it offers very good value for money. The rooms were very clean and the buffet style breakfast was excellent. I would be happy to... More

Stayed here for 1 week beginning August 15th. Staff were very friendly and helpful especially Christopher at the front desk and Peter the waiter in the restaurant. The hotel is small but is ideally situated right across the street from the Gloucester Road subway and a short walk from the Natural History Museum. Harrods about a 20 minute walk away.... More

We didn't expect much, because we paid a good price. We had a warm welcome, the staff is very friendly. The location is good, because you are near the tube , Gloucester. You can reach any touristic attraction in no time. I advise to buy an Oyster Card. The room is clean, there is a fridge, tea and coffee and... More

It is my first time in the UK and our travel agency had booked with this hotel for one night. The hotel seems quite outdated. The walls, furniture and even the building itself smells "old". We checked in with the man at the front. Jesus christ, this man was INCREDIBLY rude. He kept giving us unnecessary attitude. Maybe it was... More

Room is old but clean and the position is very convinient. The hotel team is very nice and friendly but the bold guy in front desk.... He is terrible and unfriendly! Should be replaced! Overall opinion is very good nd the restaurant is very good Indian food!

This was our first time at a hotel in the UK. Overall we had a good experience. The good: the hotel is located next to the tube, a tesco (small market), and pharmacy, and it seemed to be in a safe neighbourhood. The staff was friendly. The room had excellent Air conditioning, a mini fridge, large bathroom (for European standards).... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
