Pros - welcoming staff, very clean hotel throughout, beds are comfortable, very quiet at night time (no noise from traffic as the hotel is on a side road), WIFI signal is strong, location is perfect and within walking distance to Camden Town, Covent Gardens, London Eye (all no more than 30 minutes walk) or Kings Cross tube station is literally... We stayed for one night prior to leaving on an early Eurostar from St. Pancras. The location is excellent, just down a road opposite the stations, and we found it easily. Disappointed to be told that credit cards carry a 3% surcharge; nothing about this on their website or on Hotels.com, who we booked through. We were given room 10,... More

We stayed here to be closer to the city center. Only a block or two from Tube. The family who has the business was warm and welcoming. The breakfast was also awesome and gave us fuel for a day of wandering London. It's also close to local pubs and such if you want a casual drink at the end of... More

We had a 3 night stay with four people in their family room (1 double bed & 2 twins). The rooms are small and the bathroom is modern yet small. There are public bathrooms on the landings between floors. The best points are friendly & helpful staff, a GREAT cooked to order breakfast, a nearby neighborhood pub, and it is... More

What a fabulous place! Lovely people and a beautifully clean house. This was our second trip to London, the first was hell from beginning to end. We had booked through Thompson and it was awful!! We seemed as though we were in a Youth Hostel!!! This time we really struck lucky. Everything was close by including a good old Irish... More

We've stayed there for three nights and we were in twin room. Well, I have to say that our room (on the top floor) was very cosy, with hardly enough space for two people. I wouldn't recommend that room to anyone who is over 180 cm tall. Breakfasts are one of the best in London, you can combine English and... More

We stayed here for our one night in London on our way to our final destination. We came in on the Eurostar to St. Pancras station, and the hotel is about a one minute walk away. Can't beat that! The rooms are tiny, but if you come to Europe expecting a large room, you're going to have to pay more... More

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and found it to be the best B&B we've stayed in in London (which is quite a few!) so far. We were lucky enough to be in the family room for two nights and then in a twin for the third (free upgrade for two nights, amazing) and it was fantastic; big... More

We stayed here for 3 nights, the rooms were spotless and had all you needed inside, tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, tv with freeview and wifi!! They had fans in the room for the days it was quite hot. Which helped us cool down the room was small but thats to be expected in London but overall we had a great experience.... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
